أعلنت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية ضبط مواطنة على خلفية نشرها محتوى مخالفاً للآداب العامة عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي. وقالت الداخلية: «تعود تفاصيل الواقعة إلى رصد قيام المذكورة بنشر مقطع فيديو تضمن عبارات وأسئلة خادشة للحياء العام من شأنها الإخلال بالآداب العامة والإساءة إلى القيم والتقاليد التي يتحلى بها المجتمع الكويتي، وباستدعائها أقرت بقيامها بتصوير المقطع ونشره».
وأضافت الوزارة: «بالتنسيق مع جهة الاختصاص في النيابة العامة، أفادت بأن المحتوى محل الواقعة يُشكّل جريمة، وجار إحالة المتهمة مع التحريات إلى نيابة الإعلام لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقها، وأكدت وزارة الداخلية استمرارها في التصدي لأي تجاوزات تمس القيم المجتمعية وتطبيق القانون بكل حزم».
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of a citizen for posting content that violates public morals on social media platforms. The ministry stated: "The details of the incident date back to monitoring the mentioned individual posting a video clip that included phrases and questions that are indecent and could disrupt public morals and offend the values and traditions upheld by Kuwaiti society. Upon her summons, she admitted to filming and posting the clip."
The ministry added: "In coordination with the relevant authority in the Public Prosecution, it was reported that the content in question constitutes a crime, and the accused is being referred along with the investigations to the Media Prosecution to take the necessary legal actions against her. The Ministry of Interior confirmed its commitment to addressing any violations that touch upon societal values and enforcing the law firmly."
