عرض المطوّر العقاري تومي لين منزل الطفولة للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في حي جامايكا إستيتس بمدينة نيويورك للبيع مقابل 2.3 مليون دولار، وذلك بعد عملية ترميم واسعة استمرت 8 أشهر.
المنزل الذي بُني عام 1940 على يد والد الرئيس فريد ترمب، شهد تحديثاً شاملاً أعاد إليه رونقه القديم مع لمسات عصرية. فقد تم الحفاظ على الواجهة الأصلية من الطوب والجص، بينما جرى تجديد المرافق الداخلية بالكامل، وإضافة تجهيزات ذكية وأنظمة دخول حديثة، مع الإبقاء على بعض التفاصيل الكلاسيكية مثل الموقد الخشبي القديم.
ويضم العقار 5 غرف نوم بمساحة إجمالية تقارب 2500 قدم مربعة فوق الأرض، إضافة إلى 1000 قدم في القبو، ما يجعله يجمع بين القيمة التاريخية والموقع الفاخر.
وأكد المطوّر لين في تصريحات صحفية أن رهانه على العقار يعود إلى رمزيته التاريخية وسوقه القوية، إذ تقع المنطقة ضمن أحياء تتجاوز فيها أسعار العقارات 3 ملايين دولار عادة.
المنزل الذي تحول سابقاً إلى مقر ضيافة مؤقت على منصات التأجير القصير مثل «إير بي إن بي»، يعود اليوم إلى السوق بوصفه قطعة من ذاكرة عائلة ترمب، تجمع بين الحنين والتاريخ والعقار الفاخر.
Real estate developer Tommy Lin has put President Donald Trump's childhood home in Jamaica Estates, New York, up for sale for $2.3 million, following an extensive 8-month renovation.
The house, built in 1940 by the president's father, Fred Trump, has undergone a comprehensive update that restored its former charm with modern touches. The original brick and stucco facade has been preserved, while the interior facilities have been completely renovated, adding smart features and modern entry systems, while keeping some classic details like the old wooden fireplace.
The property includes 5 bedrooms with a total area of approximately 2,500 square feet above ground, plus 1,000 square feet in the basement, making it a blend of historical value and luxurious location.
Developer Lin confirmed in press statements that his bet on the property is due to its historical significance and strong market, as the area is within neighborhoods where property prices typically exceed $3 million.
The house, which previously served as a temporary guesthouse on short-term rental platforms like "Airbnb," is now back on the market as a piece of the Trump family's memory, combining nostalgia, history, and luxury real estate.
