في حادثة غريبة هزّت الأوساط الرياضية في إسبانيا، تعرّض لاعب شاب يبلغ من العمر 17 عامًا من فريق شباب فيليز ملقا لبتر جزئي في إصبع يده اليسرى، بعدما أقدم لاعب من الفريق المنافس اتحاد ألغارّوبو (18 عامًا) على عضّه أثناء شجار عنيف اندلع في اللحظات الأخيرة من مباراة جمعتهما الأحد الماضي على الملعب البلدي في فيليز ملقا.
وبحسب صحف محلية، كانت المباراة تسير لصالح فيليز ملقا بنتيجة 2-1 حتى الدقيقة التسعين، حين أدرك اتحاد ألغارّوبو التعادل. وفي الوقت بدل الضائع (الدقيقة 96)، أحرز الفريق المضيف هدفًا ثالثًا ليحسم اللقاء 3-2، لكن الأجواء اشتعلت فجأة داخل الملعب، ليتحوّل الاحتفال إلى عراك جماعي بين لاعبي الفريقين.
وأكد شهود عيان أن المدربين حاولوا تهدئة الموقف، إلا أن الاشتباك تصاعد بسرعة. وخلال العراك، قام أحد لاعبي ألغارّوبو بعضّ إصبع خصمه أثناء محاولته الدفاع عن نفسه، ما تسبب في قطع جزء منه بالكامل.
نُقل اللاعب المصاب على الفور إلى المستشفى وخضع لعملية جراحية عاجلة، غير أن الأطباء فشلوا في إعادة الجزء المبتور، ما أدى إلى فقدانه الدائم لجزء من إصبعه الأوسط.
وقدّم الطرفان بلاغين رسميين للشرطة الوطنية الإسبانية، التي باشرت تحقيقًا لتحديد المسؤوليات وتوثيق ملابسات الحادثة.
من جانبها، أعلنت لجنة الانضباط في الاتحاد المحلي لكرة القدم بملقا إيقاف سبعة لاعبين مؤقتًا من الفريقين وسحب بطاقاتهم الرياضية حتى انتهاء التحقيقات الرسمية.
In a strange incident that shook the sports community in Spain, a 17-year-old player from the Vélez Málaga youth team suffered a partial amputation of his left finger after a player from the rival team, Unión Algarrobo (18 years old), bit him during a violent brawl that erupted in the final moments of a match held last Sunday at the municipal stadium in Vélez Málaga.
According to local newspapers, the match was in favor of Vélez Málaga with a score of 2-1 until the ninetieth minute, when Unión Algarrobo equalized. In stoppage time (the 96th minute), the home team scored a third goal to secure the match 3-2, but the atmosphere suddenly escalated inside the stadium, turning the celebration into a brawl between players from both teams.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the coaches tried to calm the situation, but the altercation quickly escalated. During the fight, one of the Algarrobo players bit his opponent's finger while trying to defend himself, resulting in the complete severing of a part of it.
The injured player was immediately transported to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery; however, the doctors were unable to reattach the severed part, leading to the permanent loss of part of his middle finger.
Both parties filed official reports with the Spanish National Police, which has initiated an investigation to determine responsibilities and document the circumstances of the incident.
For its part, the Disciplinary Committee of the local football federation in Málaga announced the temporary suspension of seven players from both teams and the withdrawal of their sports cards until the official investigations are completed.
