تحولت رحلة جوية تابعة لشركة «رايان إير» الإيرلندية، كانت متجهة من ميلانو إلى لندن ستانستيد، إلى كابوس جوي حقيقي بعد دقائق قليلة من الإقلاع، عندما قام اثنان من الركاب بمحاولة تدمير جوازات سفرهما بطرق غريبة أثارت الفوضى على متن الطائرة.
ودفعت الواقعة طاقم الطائرة إلى تحويل مسار الرحلة إلى مطار شارل ديغول في باريس، حيث اعتقلت الشرطة الفرنسية الرجلين بعد هبوط اضطراري مثير للرعب.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام فرنسية، عن أحد الركاب كان على متن الرحلة، أنه بعد مرور 15 إلى 20 دقيقة فقط من الإقلاع، وبمجرد إطفاء إشارة الأحزمة، بدأت الأحداث تتصاعد بشكل دراماتيكي: «فجأة، تغير المزاج تماماً في الطائرة، ولم يعرف أحد ما يحدث، هؤلاء الأشخاص كانوا يتصرفون بغرابة شديدة»، وأنه شاهد أحد الرجال يمزق صفحات جواز سفره بيديه ثم يبدأ في مضغها وابتلاعها ببطء، كأنه يحاول إخفاء هويته نهائياً.
أما الرجل الثاني، فقد توجه إلى الجزء الخلفي من الطائرة محاولاً إلقاء جواز سفره في المرحاض، ما أثار توتراً إضافياً، وحاول مضيف الطائرة طرق الباب بعنف، مطالباً بالفتح، لكن الرجل رفض، ما دفع المضيفة إلى إلقاء إعلان عام عبر مكبر الصوت: «يرجى من الجميع البقاء في مقاعدهم، وسنتعامل مع الموقف»، حيث أثار هذا الإعلان القصير والمباشر الذعر على متن الطائرة وفقاً للراكب.
ومع تصاعد التوتر، قرر الطيار تحويل مسار الرحلة إلى باريس لتجنب أي مخاطر محتملة. ووصف الراكب الهبوط الاضطراري بأنه «أكثر 15 دقيقة رعباً في حياتي»، مشيراً إلى أن الطائرة كانت تهبط في ظروف غير متوقعة، مع ارتفاع مستويات التوتر بين الركاب، وعند الوصول إلى الأرض، صعدت قوات الشرطة الفرنسية إلى متن الطائرة فوراً، وقامت باعتقال الرجلين بعد تفتيش شامل للحقائب استمر نحو ساعتين، قبل السماح للطائرة باستكمال رحلتها إلى ستانستيد.
ولم تعلق شركة «رايان إير» رسمياً على الحادثة حتى الآن، لكن مصادر إعلامية تشير إلى أن مثل هذه الحوادث قد تكون مرتبطة بمحاولات طلب لجوء أو تهريب، حيث يحاول بعض الركاب تدمير وثائقهم لإجبار الطائرة على الهبوط في بلد آخر.
وتعد شركة الطيران الإيرلندية «رايان إير» واحدة من أكبر شركات الطيران منخفضة التكلفة في أوروبا، تأسست عام 1984، وتُعد رائدة في السوق الجوية القارية، وتعمل من خلال شبكة واسعة من المطارات الثانوية لتقليل التكاليف، مثل مطار لندن ستانستيد في بريطانيا، ومطار ميلانو مالبينسا في إيطاليا.
A flight operated by the Irish airline "Ryanair," which was headed from Milan to London Stansted, turned into a real nightmare shortly after takeoff when two passengers attempted to destroy their passports in bizarre ways that caused chaos on board the plane.
The incident prompted the flight crew to divert the flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, where French police arrested the two men after a terrifying emergency landing.
French media reported that one passenger on the flight stated that just 15 to 20 minutes after takeoff, and as soon as the seatbelt sign was turned off, events escalated dramatically: "Suddenly, the mood in the plane changed completely, and no one knew what was happening; these people were acting very strangely." He witnessed one of the men tearing pages from his passport with his hands and then starting to chew and slowly swallow them, as if he were trying to completely hide his identity.
The second man went to the back of the plane, attempting to throw his passport into the toilet, which caused additional tension. The flight attendant tried to knock on the door violently, demanding it be opened, but the man refused, prompting the attendant to make a public announcement over the intercom: "Everyone please remain in your seats, and we will handle the situation," which caused panic on board according to the passenger.
As tensions rose, the pilot decided to divert the flight to Paris to avoid any potential risks. The passenger described the emergency landing as "the most terrifying 15 minutes of my life," noting that the plane was landing under unexpected conditions, with rising stress levels among the passengers. Upon reaching the ground, French police immediately boarded the aircraft and arrested the two men after a thorough search of the bags that lasted about two hours, before allowing the plane to continue its journey to Stansted.
Ryanair has not officially commented on the incident yet, but media sources suggest that such incidents may be linked to attempts to seek asylum or smuggling, as some passengers try to destroy their documents to force the plane to land in another country.
