كشفت السلطات العراقية عن عيادة تجميل كبيرة في محافظة البصرة، يديرها طبيب مزيف؛ ما أثار مخاوف الزبائن السابقين الذي خضعوا للعديد من الإجراءات الطبية هناك، لاسيما النساء.
وقالت دائرة صحة البصرة، إنها ضبطت شخصاً انتحل صفة طبيب جلدية، ويدير إحدى عيادات التجميل بإجازة مزورة في منطقة «الهارثة».
وأضافت الصحة في بيان، أنها ضبطت الأجهزة الموجودة في العيادة، وسلمتها الى طرف ثالث، وأغلقت المكان.
وأظهر مقطع فيديو لعملية التفتيش، إحدى العاملات في العيادة، وهي مرتبكة خلال ردها على موظفي الصحة الذين كانوا يتحققون من هوية الطبيب.
كما ظهر في الفيديو العديد من الغرف التي تتخصص كل منها بإجراء طبي، مثل الحقن والليزر، بينما يتواجد عدد كبير من الأجهزة الطبية في المكان الذي يبدو أقرب لمركز طبي منه إلى عيادة صغيرة.
وأثارت الحادثة ردود فعل واسعة بين نساء من المنطقة، بعد تبادل المعلومات فيما بينهنَّ على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لمعرفة اسم المركز المخالف وطبيبه المزيف.
ولم تذكر دائرة الصحة، هوية الطبيب، ولا عدد المراجعات للمركز والإجراءات الطبية التي خضعنَّ لها.
وتنتشر مراكز وعيادات التجميل على نطاق واسع في العراق، وسط شكاوى من وجود مخالفات كثيرة فيها من ناحية تخصص العاملين فيها وحصولهم على تراخيص عمل قانونية.
The Iraqi authorities revealed a large beauty clinic in Basra province, run by a fake doctor; this raised concerns among former clients who underwent numerous medical procedures there, especially women.
The Basra Health Department stated that it apprehended an individual impersonating a dermatologist, who was operating one of the beauty clinics with a forged license in the "Al-Hartha" area.
Health officials added in a statement that they seized the equipment present in the clinic, handed it over to a third party, and closed the location.
A video of the inspection showed one of the clinic's workers appearing flustered while responding to health officials who were verifying the doctor's identity.
The video also displayed several rooms, each specializing in a medical procedure, such as injections and laser treatments, while a large number of medical devices were present in a place that seemed more like a medical center than a small clinic.
The incident sparked widespread reactions among women from the area, after they exchanged information on social media to identify the name of the violating center and its fake doctor.
The Health Department did not disclose the identity of the doctor, nor the number of clients who visited the center and the medical procedures they underwent.
Beauty centers and clinics are widely spread across Iraq, amid complaints about numerous violations regarding the qualifications of their staff and the legality of their work licenses.
