ضرب زلزال بقوة 7.5 درجة اليوم (السبت) قبالة سواحل شرق روسيا وفقاً لهيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية.
فيما ذكر مركز الأبحاث الألماني لعلوم الأرض أن زلزالا بلغت قوته 7.1 درجة وقع بالقرب من الساحل الشرقي لمنطقة كامتشاتكا الروسية السبت.
وأضاف المركز أن الزلزال وقع على عمق 10 كيلومترات.
وأشار مركز التحذير من أمواج التسونامي في المحيط الهادئ إلى احتمالية تكوّن أمواج «خطيرة» على طول السواحل الواقعة ضمن نطاق 300 كيلومتر من مركز الزلزال.
A 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck today (Saturday) off the eastern coast of Russia, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The German Research Center for Geosciences reported that an earthquake measuring 7.1 magnitude occurred near the eastern coast of the Russian Kamchatka region on Saturday.
The center added that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center indicated the possibility of "dangerous" waves forming along the coasts within a 300-kilometer radius of the earthquake's epicenter.
