أثار مقطع فيديو متداول على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي موجة من السخرية، بعدما وجدت شابتان أمريكيتان نفسيهما على متن طائرة متجهة إلى تونس بدلاً من مدينة نيس الفرنسية، بسبب التباس لغوي بين جملة «to Nice» وكلمة «Tunis».
القصة بدأت بعد أن فاتتهما رحلتهما الأولى من مطار روما، وطلبتا تذكرتين جديدتين، قبل أن تقودهما الصدفة إلى الطائرة الخطأ. ولم تدركا الأمر إلا بعد جلوسهما على المقاعد وسؤالهما إحدى الراكبات التي أوضحت الوجهة الحقيقية، وهو ما أكدته مضيفة الطيران، لتسألان بدهشة: «وأين تقع دولة تونس؟».
وحصدت مقاطع الفيديو التي نشرتها الشابتان عبر «تيك توك» عشرات ملايين المشاهدات، إذ ظهرتا في مغامرات طريفة بين مكاتب المطار وشباك الخطوط التونسية «تونس إير»، وسط استمرار وصفهما أفريقيا بأنها «دولة».
وفي مقطع آخر، كشفتا عن شكوى أعدّها لهما تطبيق «ChatGPT» لتقديمها ضد الشركة التي اعتبرتاها مسؤولة عن الالتباس.
وبعد سلسلة من الشكاوى، تمكنت الشابتان في النهاية من حجز رحلة في اللحظة الأخيرة لمغادرة تونس. وأظهر أحدث منشوراتهما وصولهما إلى نيس الفرنسية على متن طائرة تابعة لـ«تونس إير».
A viral video circulating on social media has sparked a wave of mockery after two American young women found themselves on a flight to Tunisia instead of the French city of Nice, due to a linguistic confusion between the phrase "to Nice" and the word "Tunis".
The story began after they missed their first flight from Rome Airport and requested two new tickets, before a coincidence led them to the wrong plane. They only realized the situation after sitting in their seats and asking a fellow passenger, who clarified the true destination, which was confirmed by the flight attendant, leading them to ask in astonishment: "And where is the country of Tunisia?"
The videos that the young women posted on TikTok garnered tens of millions of views, as they appeared in amusing adventures between airport offices and the Tunisian airline "Tunis Air", while they continued to refer to Africa as a "country".
In another clip, they revealed a complaint prepared for them by the "ChatGPT" application to file against the company they considered responsible for the confusion.
After a series of complaints, the young women eventually managed to book a last-minute flight to leave Tunisia. Their latest post showed their arrival in Nice, France, on a plane operated by "Tunis Air".
