شهدت مصر، اليوم السبت، حادثًا مروعًا بخروج 7 عربات من القطار رقم 1935 القادم من مطروح إلى القاهرة عن القضبان، وذلك بين محطتي فوكة وجلال بمحافظة مطروح، ما أسفر عن انقلاب عربتين وإصابة العشرات.
وزارة النقل أعلنت أن فرق الطوارئ بالسكة الحديد دفعت فورًا بالأطقم الفنية والمعدات الثقيلة لرفع آثار الحادث وإعادة الحركة في أسرع وقت، فيما انتقل نائب رئيس الوزراء للتنمية الصناعية ووزير الصناعة والنقل إلى موقع الحادث، موجها بتشكيل لجنة فنية عاجلة للوقوف على الأسباب، مع التشديد على معاقبة المتسببين والفصل الفوري لكل من تثبت إدانته.
في المقابل، كشفت وزارة الصحة أن الحصيلة الأولية بلغت 54 مصابًا، جرى نقل 33 منهم إلى مستشفى الضبعة المركزي و21 إلى مستشفى رأس الحكمة، إضافة إلى تسجيل 3 حالات وفاة تم نقلها إلى مشرحة مستشفى رأس الحكمة تحت تصرف النيابة العامة. ودعمت الوزارة موقع الحادث بـ30 سيارة إسعاف مجهزة، مؤكدة رفع حالة الاستعداد القصوى بالمستشفيات، مع ضمان توفير الدم ومشتقاته.
كما أوفد وزير الصحة نائبه الدكتور محمد الطيب للإشراف الميداني على عمليات الإسعاف والعلاج، والتأكد من تقديم كامل الخدمات الطبية للمصابين.
Today, Saturday, Egypt witnessed a horrific incident when 7 cars from train number 1935, coming from Matrouh to Cairo, derailed between the Foka and Jalal stations in Matrouh Governorate, resulting in the overturning of two cars and injuring dozens.
The Ministry of Transport announced that emergency teams from the railways immediately dispatched technical crews and heavy equipment to lift the aftermath of the accident and restore movement as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and the Minister of Industry and Transport moved to the site of the accident, directing the formation of an urgent technical committee to investigate the causes, while emphasizing the punishment of those responsible and the immediate dismissal of anyone found guilty.
In contrast, the Ministry of Health revealed that the initial toll reached 54 injured, with 33 of them transferred to Dabaa Central Hospital and 21 to Ras El Hikma Hospital, in addition to recording 3 fatalities that were transferred to the morgue of Ras El Hikma Hospital under the jurisdiction of the Public Prosecution. The ministry supported the accident site with 30 equipped ambulances, confirming the highest state of readiness in hospitals, ensuring the availability of blood and its derivatives.
The Minister of Health also dispatched his deputy, Dr. Mohamed Al-Tayeb, to oversee the field operations of rescue and treatment, ensuring that all medical services are provided to the injured.
