فتحت السلطات الكويتية تحقيقاً عاجلاً بعد حادثة مأساوية شهدتها منطقة الفردوس، إذ أقدم شاب خليجي في العشرينيات على دهس شاب كويتي يبلغ 26 عاماً مرات عدة عمداً، ما أدى إلى وفاته فوراً، وفق ما نشرته وسائل إعلام محلية. وأوضح مصدر أمني أن الحادثة وقعت نتيجة خلافات شخصية بين الطرفين، وأن غرفة العمليات تلقت بلاغاً عاجلاً عن وجود جثة في أحد الشوارع، ليهرع رجال الأمن إلى الموقع ويتأكدوا من الواقعة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن الجاني لم يحاول الهرب، بل بادر بتسليم نفسه للشرطة واعترف بجريمته ودوافعها، فيما أمرت النيابة العامة برفع جثة الضحية إلى الطب الشرعي لتحديد سبب الوفاة بدقة. وتم حجز المتهم على ذمة التحقيق تمهيداً لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحقه، وسط استنكار واسع من المجتمع الكويتي لهذه الجريمة البشعة.

A security source explained that the incident took place due to personal disputes between the two parties, and the operations room received an urgent report about a body in one of the streets, prompting security personnel to rush to the scene and confirm the incident.
The report indicated that the perpetrator did not attempt to flee but instead turned himself in to the police and confessed to his crime and its motives, while the Public Prosecution ordered the victim's body to be sent to forensic medicine to accurately determine the cause of death. The accused has been detained pending investigation in preparation for legal action against him, amid widespread condemnation from the Kuwaiti community regarding this heinous crime.
