كشفت شركة آبل عن ميزة جديدة تحمل اسم «فرز المكالمات» ضمن تحديث iOS 26 المقرر في سبتمبر 2025، حيث تتيح للمستخدم معرفة اسم المتصل وسبب المكالمة قبل الرد، ما يساهم في تقليل محاولات الاحتيال الهاتفي. وتتوفر ميزة مشابهة بالفعل على بعض أجهزة أندرويد.
إلى جانب ذلك، توفر أنظمة التشغيل ميزات أمان إضافية مثل:
مدير كلمات المرور لتنبيه المستخدم عند تسريب بياناته، وإخفاء التطبيقات الحساسة بعيداً عن أعين المتطفلين، وحماية الجهاز المسروق عبر تفعيل بصمة الوجه أو الإصبع في الأماكن غير المألوفة، وخدمة إخفاء البريد الإلكتروني لحماية الحسابات الأساسية من التسريب.
يبقى تحديث نظام التشغيل بانتظام خط الدفاع الأول ضد الاختراقات، إذ يشكّل إهمال التحديثات ثغرة يستغلها المحتالون للوصول إلى بيانات المستخدمين.
