لقى 6 أشخاص مصرعهم وأصيب 6 آخرون، في حادث انهيار عقار سكني في مدينة الزقازيق بمحافظة الشرقية في مصر، حيث انهار عقار سكني مكون من خمسة طوابق في حي الزهور، وهزت الواقعة المروعة أرجاء المدينة، وسط جهود مكثفة من فرق الإنقاذ للبحث عن ناجين محتملين تحت الأنقاض.
وفقا للتقارير الأمنية، تلقت مديرية أمن الشرقية بلاغا بانهيار العقار المأهول بعدد من الأسر، وانتقلت قوات الحماية المدنية والإسعاف على الفور إلى موقع الحادث، حيث تمكنت من انتشال 6 جثث ونقل المصابين إلى مستشفيات جامعة الزقازيق ومستشفى الزقازيق العام لتلقي العلاج.
وأشارت التحريات الأولية إلى أن العقار، الذي يعود تاريخ بنائه إلى الثمانينات، كان يعاني من تصدعات هيكلية ولم يخضع لصيانة دورية، كما أشارت تقارير إلى أن تعديلات غير قانونية أجراها أحد السكان في الطابق الأرضي ربما أضعفت هيكل المبنى.
وأمر محافظ الشرقية، حازم الأشموني، بتشكيل لجنة هندسية عاجلة لفحص العقار وتحديد أسباب الانهيار، مع إخلاء المباني المجاورة كإجراء احترازي، كما وجهت وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي بصرف تعويضات فورية بقيمة 60,000 جنيه مصري لأسر الضحايا، وتقديم مساعدات للمصابين والمتضررين.
وأكدت أجهزة الحماية المدنية بالشرقية انتشال جميع الضحايا والمصابين بعد أعمال الحصر التي شملت سؤال ذويهم، حيث تبيّن أن من بينهم أسرة كاملة، فيما أكد مصدر أمني أن فرق الإنقاذ دفعت بكامل طاقتها إلى موقع الحادث، وتم نقل المصابين إلى المستشفيات لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، بينما استمرت عمليات رفع الركام والتأكد من عدم وجود أي مفقودين آخرين.
Six people lost their lives and six others were injured in the collapse of a residential building in the city of Zagazig, located in the Sharqia Governorate of Egypt. The five-story building in the Al-Zuhur neighborhood collapsed, and the horrific incident shook the city, with intensive efforts from rescue teams to search for potential survivors under the rubble.
According to security reports, the Sharqia Security Directorate received a notification about the collapse of the inhabited building, which housed several families. Civil defense and ambulance forces immediately moved to the scene of the incident, where they managed to recover six bodies and transport the injured to Zagazig University Hospitals and Zagazig General Hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the building, which dates back to the 1980s, was suffering from structural cracks and had not undergone regular maintenance. Reports also suggested that illegal modifications made by a resident on the ground floor may have weakened the building's structure.
The Governor of Sharqia, Hazem El-Ashmouni, ordered the formation of an urgent engineering committee to inspect the building and determine the causes of the collapse, while evacuating the neighboring buildings as a precautionary measure. The Ministry of Social Solidarity also directed the disbursement of immediate compensation amounting to 60,000 Egyptian pounds to the families of the victims, and to provide assistance to the injured and affected individuals.
The civil defense authorities in Sharqia confirmed the recovery of all victims and injured individuals after conducting a survey that included questioning their relatives, revealing that among them was a complete family. A security source confirmed that rescue teams deployed their full capacity to the site of the incident, and the injured were transported to hospitals to receive necessary medical care, while operations to remove the debris and ensure there were no other missing persons continued.
