ضرب زلزال بلغت قوته 5.9 درجة على مقياس ريختر قبالة الساحل الجنوبي الغربي لغواتيمالا اليوم.
وذكرت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية أن الزلزال وقع على بعد نحو 100 كيلومتر جنوب غرب منطقة تشامبريكو في غواتيمالا، وعلى عمق 9 كيلومترات.
ولم ترد على الفور أي تقارير عن وقوع خسائر بشرية أو أضرار مادية جراء الزلزال الذي شعر به سكان في أجزاء من جنوبي المكسيك.
A 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the southwestern coast of Guatemala today.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the earthquake occurred about 100 kilometers southwest of the Champerico area in Guatemala, at a depth of 9 kilometers.
No immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received from the earthquake, which was felt by residents in parts of southern Mexico.
