قُتل ثلاثة أشخاص أمس، في انفجار وقع داخل مركز تدريب للشرطة في مدينة لوس أنجلوس الأمريكية.
وأوضح المسؤول المحلي في مقاطعة لوس أنجلوس روبرت لونا أن ثلاثة من عناصر الشرطة قتلوا جراء الانفجار، في حين لم يصب أحد، واصفاً الواقعة بأنها مأساوية.
وأضاف أن السلطات لم تتوصل بعد إلى تحديد سبب الانفجار، لكنه لفت الانتباه إلى عدم وجود أي خطر يهدّد السكان، مشيراً إلى أن فريق تفكيك القنابل في شرطة لوس أنجلوس أمّن المكان، فيما لا تزال التحقيقات جارية لمعرفة ملابسات الحادثة.
Three people were killed yesterday in an explosion that occurred inside a police training center in Los Angeles, USA.
Local official in Los Angeles County, Robert Luna, stated that three police officers were killed as a result of the explosion, while no one else was injured, describing the incident as tragic.
He added that authorities have not yet determined the cause of the explosion, but he pointed out that there is no threat to residents, noting that the bomb disposal team of the Los Angeles Police secured the area, while investigations are still ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident.
