أعلن المركز الوطني للإبلاغ عن الأجسام الطائرة المجهولة في الولايات المتحدة تسجيل أكثر من 2174 مشاهدة لأجسام طائرة مجهولة الهوية (UFOs) خلال النصف الأول من عام 2025، وهو رقم يمثل زيادة ملحوظة مقارنة بالسنوات السابقة.
ووفقاً لتقرير نشرته صحيفة «The Hill»، فإن هذه الأرقام تتجاوز بشكل كبير عدد المشاهدات المسجلة في الفترة ذاتها من عام 2024 (1492 مشاهدة) وعام 2023 (2077 مشاهدة)، ما يعكس تصاعداً غير مسبوق في الاهتمام بهذه الظواهر الغامضة.
ويعد المركز الوطني للإبلاغ عن الأجسام الطائرة المجهولة منظمة غير ربحية تأسست عام 1974، يعمل على جمع وتحليل تقارير المشاهدات الجوية غير المفسرة من الجمهور والطيارين والمسؤولين العسكريين، وقد أشار المركز إلى أن هذه الزيادة قد تكون مرتبطة بتحسن تقنيات المراقبة، وزيادة الوعي العام، أو ربما بظواهر غير مفسرة فعلياً.
وتشمل الحالات البارزة مشاهدات في ولاية نيويورك، حيث تم الإبلاغ عن أكثر من 60 جسماً طائراً مجهول الهوية، بما في ذلك مشاهدة في تشيستر بتاريخ 25 مارس الماضي، حيث رصد شاهد عيان كرتين بيضاويتين تتحركان بسرعة فائقة وتغيران مسارهما بشكل مفاجئ بزاوية 90 درجة دون تباطؤ.
وتعتبر ظاهرة الأجسام الطائرة المجهولة، أو ما يُعرف الآن بـ«الظواهر الجوية غير المحددة»، ليست جديدة، فقد بدأ الاهتمام بها يتصاعد منذ أواخر الأربعينات بعد رؤية كينيث آرنولد الشهيرة عام 1947، التي أطلقت مصطلح «الأطباق الطائرة»، وخلال الحرب الباردة، أثارت هذه الظواهر قلق الحكومة الأمريكية خشية أن تكون مركبات تابعة للاتحاد السوفيتي، ومع ذلك، أنهت الولايات المتحدة تحقيقاتها الرسمية في الظاهرة عام 1969 بتقرير كوندون، الذي خلص إلى عدم وجود تهديد أمني واضح.
وفي السنوات الأخيرة، عادت الظاهرة إلى الواجهة مع تقارير من البنتاغون ومكتب مدير المخابرات القومية، حيث تم الإبلاغ عن أكثر من 500 حالة حتى عام 2023، مع بقاء العديد منها دون تفسير، كما أثارت مشاهدات حديثة في ولايات مثل نيوجيرسي ونيويورك جدلاً واسعاً، خاصة بعد دعوات الرئيس دونالد ترمب لاتخاذ إجراءات حاسمة ضد هذه الأجسام.
ورغم زيادة أعدادها، تؤكد السلطات أن العديد من هذه المشاهدات قد تكون ناتجة عن طائرات مسيرة، بالونات، أو ظواهر جوية طبيعية، بينما تظل نسبة صغيرة غامضة تماماً.

According to a report published by The Hill, these numbers significantly exceed the recorded sightings during the same period in 2024 (1,492 sightings) and 2023 (2,077 sightings), reflecting an unprecedented rise in interest in these mysterious phenomena.
The National UFO Reporting Center is a non-profit organization established in 1974, working to collect and analyze reports of unexplained aerial sightings from the public, pilots, and military officials. The center indicated that this increase may be related to improved monitoring technologies, heightened public awareness, or perhaps genuinely unexplained phenomena.
Notable cases include sightings in New York, where more than 60 unidentified flying objects have been reported, including a sighting in Chester on March 25, where a witness observed two oval-shaped objects moving at high speed and changing their trajectory suddenly at a 90-degree angle without slowing down.
The phenomenon of unidentified flying objects, or what is now known as "unidentified aerial phenomena," is not new; interest in it began to rise in the late 1940s after Kenneth Arnold's famous sighting in 1947, which coined the term "flying saucers." During the Cold War, these phenomena raised concerns for the U.S. government, fearing they could be vehicles from the Soviet Union. However, the United States ended its official investigations into the phenomenon in 1969 with the Condon Report, which concluded that there was no clear security threat.
In recent years, the phenomenon has returned to the forefront with reports from the Pentagon and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where more than 500 cases have been reported up to 2023, with many remaining unexplained. Recent sightings in states like New Jersey and New York have sparked widespread debate, especially following calls from President Donald Trump for decisive action against these objects.
Despite the increase in numbers, authorities emphasize that many of these sightings may be attributed to drones, balloons, or natural atmospheric phenomena, while a small percentage remains completely mysterious.
