اندلع حريق هائل، اليوم الجمعة، في مصنع للمنظفات والكيماويات بمنطقة الروبيكي الصناعية التابعة لمدينة بدر في محافظة القاهرة، مما أدى إلى تصاعد ألسنة اللهب والدخان الأسود الكثيف في سماء المنطقة.
وتلقت غرفة عمليات النجدة بمديرية أمن القاهرة بلاغًا يفيد باشتعال النيران في المصنع، وعلى الفور هرعت قوات الحماية المدنية إلى موقع الحادث مدعومة بأكثر من 15 سيارة إطفاء و4 خزانات مياه إستراتيجية بسعة 35 و15 طنًا للسيطرة على الحريق ومنع امتداده إلى المنشآت المجاورة.
واجهت فرق الإطفاء صعوبات كبيرة في السيطرة على الحريق بسبب وجود مواد سريعة الاشتعال داخل المصنع، إلى جانب ارتفاع درجات الحرارة التي فاقمت من الوضع، ونتيجة للأدخنة السامة المتصاعدة، أصيب سبعة من أفراد الحماية المدنية بحالات اختناق، تلقى ستة منهم العلاج في موقع الحادث، بينما نُقل أحدهم إلى مستشفى بدر لتلقي العلاج بسبب إصابته بحروق.
تم فرض كردون أمني حول المنطقة لمنع اقتراب المواطنين حفاظًا على سلامتهم، كما تم فصل التيار الكهربائي وإغلاق منافذ الغاز في المنطقة المحيطة لتقليل المخاطر، وتواصل قوات الحماية المدنية جهودها لإخماد الحريق بالكامل، فيما تجري الأجهزة الأمنية تحريات مكثفة للكشف عن أسباب الحادث من خلال تفريغ كاميرات المراقبة وسؤال شهود العيان للتحقق من وجود شبهة جنائية.
وتُعدّ مدينة بدر، الواقعة شرق محافظة القاهرة، واحدة من المدن الصناعية الرئيسية في مصر، حيث تضم العديد من المصانع في قطاعات متنوعة مثل المنظفات، الكيماويات، العطور، والمواد البلاستيكية، وشهدت المدينة خلال السنوات الأخيرة عدة حوادث حرائق في مصانعها، منها حريق مصنع عطور في مايو الماضي، وحريق آخر في مصنع كرتون في أبريل 2025، مما أثار تساؤلات حول إجراءات السلامة الصناعية والامتثال لمعايير الأمان في هذه المنشآت.
وتجري النيابة العامة تحقيقات موسعة للوقوف على ملابسات الحريق، مع التركيز على معايير السلامة في المصنع، بما في ذلك وجود أنظمة إنذار وإطفاء مبكرة، ومدى التزام المصنع باشتراطات الأمن الصناعي.
A massive fire broke out today, Friday, at a detergent and chemicals factory in the Robiki industrial area belonging to the city of Badr in Cairo Governorate, resulting in flames and thick black smoke rising into the sky.
The Cairo Security Directorate's operations room received a report about the fire at the factory, and immediately, civil defense forces rushed to the scene, supported by more than 15 firefighting vehicles and 4 strategic water tanks with capacities of 35 and 15 tons to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby facilities.
The firefighting teams faced significant difficulties in controlling the blaze due to the presence of flammable materials inside the factory, along with rising temperatures that exacerbated the situation. As a result of the toxic smoke rising, seven civil defense personnel suffered from cases of suffocation, with six receiving treatment at the scene, while one was transported to Badr Hospital for treatment due to burn injuries.
A security cordon was imposed around the area to prevent citizens from approaching for their safety. Additionally, the electricity supply was cut off, and gas outlets in the surrounding area were closed to reduce risks. Civil defense forces continue their efforts to completely extinguish the fire, while security agencies are conducting intensive investigations to uncover the causes of the incident by reviewing surveillance camera footage and questioning eyewitnesses to verify any criminal suspicion.
The city of Badr, located east of Cairo Governorate, is one of the main industrial cities in Egypt, housing many factories in various sectors such as detergents, chemicals, perfumes, and plastics. In recent years, the city has witnessed several fire incidents in its factories, including a perfume factory fire last May and another fire in a cardboard factory in April 2025, raising questions about industrial safety measures and compliance with safety standards in these facilities.
The public prosecution is conducting extensive investigations to determine the circumstances of the fire, focusing on safety standards in the factory, including the presence of early warning and extinguishing systems, and the extent to which the factory complies with industrial security requirements.
