كشفت صحيفة «إتش إل إن» البلجيكية أن قاتل المرأة الأوكرانية وابنتها البالغة 6 سنوات اللتين انتقلتا للعيش في مدينة هاسرود البلجيكية، هو ابن المجني عليها.
وكتبت الصحيفة: «في صباح يوم الجمعة نفسه، رأى السكان الشرطة وهي تصطحب الابن البالغ 16 عاما (ابن المرأة المقتولة) واستجوبته لعدة ساعات».
ووفقاً لبيان النيابة العامة في لوفين، فقد اعترف المراهق بإشعال الحريق وقتل أمه وأخته.
وفي يوم السبت، بدأت المحكمة التحقيق في جريمة القتل المزدوجة التي أعقبت حريقا في هاسرود، حيث عثر على الأم البالغة 46 عاماً وابنتها من عائلة أوكرانية ميتتين في منزلهما. وكانت الضحيتان تعانيان من جروح من أثر الطعنات. وعند وصول رجال الإنقاذ كانت الأم قد فارقت الحياة بالفعل، بينما حاولوا إنعاش الطفلة دون جدوى. وقد أفيد بأن ابن الضحية كان في المدرسة أثناء وقوع الحادثة.
وكانت العائلة تقيم في بلجيكا خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية. وقد تبين أن زوج الضحية يقاتل ضمن صفوف القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية ويوجد حاليا على خط الجبهة.
The Belgian newspaper "HLN" revealed that the killer of the Ukrainian woman and her 6-year-old daughter, who moved to live in the Belgian city of Hasserode, is the son of the victim.
The newspaper wrote: "On the same Friday morning, residents saw the police escorting the 16-year-old son (the son of the murdered woman) and interrogating him for several hours."
According to a statement from the public prosecutor's office in Leuven, the teenager confessed to starting the fire and killing his mother and sister.
On Saturday, the court began investigating the double murder that followed a fire in Hasserode, where the 46-year-old mother and her daughter from a Ukrainian family were found dead in their home. The victims had suffered injuries from stab wounds. When rescuers arrived, the mother had already passed away, while they attempted to revive the child without success. It was reported that the victim's son was at school during the incident.
The family had been residing in Belgium for the past three years. It was revealed that the victim's husband is fighting with the Ukrainian armed forces and is currently on the front line.
