حذّر خبراء في الأمن السيبراني من حملات احتيال إلكترونية واسعة تستغل حالة الترقب لإطلاق لعبة «GTA 6»، بهدف سرقة بيانات المستخدمين وأموالهم عبر أساليب متقدمة تعتمد على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وأوضح تقرير صادر عن شركتي Malwarebytes وNordVPN أن قراصنة ينشئون مواقع مزيفة تحاكي بدقة الهوية البصرية لشركة Rockstar Games، في محاولة لخداع المستخدمين عبر عروض وهمية لبيع «مفاتيح تجريبية» أو إتاحة وصول مبكر للعبة، مقابل تحويلات بعملات رقمية.
وبحسب التقرير، لا يقتصر الاحتيال على ذلك، بل تمتد بعض هذه المواقع إلى دفع المستخدمين لتحميل برمجيات خبيثة، تتيح للمهاجمين السيطرة على الأجهزة وسرقة البيانات الشخصية، التي تُباع لاحقاً عبر منصات غير قانونية في «الدارك ويب».
ودعا الخبراء إلى ضرورة توخي الحذر الشديد وتجنب أي عروض غير رسمية تتعلق باللعبة، خصوصاً النسخ المزعومة للحواسيب أو أجهزة «أندرويد» التي لم تُعلن عنها الشركة رسمياً حتى الآن، مع التأكيد على عدم إدخال أي بيانات مالية أو شخصية عبر روابط غير موثوقة.
Cybersecurity experts have warned of widespread electronic fraud campaigns exploiting the anticipation for the release of the game "GTA 6," aimed at stealing user data and money through advanced methods relying on artificial intelligence technologies.
A report issued by Malwarebytes and NordVPN stated that hackers are creating fake websites that closely mimic the visual identity of Rockstar Games, in an attempt to deceive users through fake offers to sell "trial keys" or provide early access to the game, in exchange for cryptocurrency transfers.
According to the report, the fraud does not stop there; some of these sites also push users to download malware, allowing attackers to take control of devices and steal personal data, which is later sold on illegal platforms in the "dark web."
Experts have urged the necessity of exercising extreme caution and avoiding any unofficial offers related to the game, especially the alleged versions for computers or "Android" devices that the company has not officially announced yet, emphasizing not to enter any financial or personal information through untrusted links.
