قررت عملاقة صناعة السيارات اليابانية تويوتا أن تُدخل «الفخامة» إلى مكاتب العمل بأسلوب لم يتوقعه أحد. فقد كشفت الشركة منتجها الأكثر غرابة وجرأة حتى الآن، وهو كرسي مكتبي ليس مجرد قطعة أثاث، بل هو مقعد سيارة فاخر جرى تحويله إلى قطعة هندسية تحمل اسم «Crown Seat Desk Chair».
الكرسي مستوحى بالكامل من سيارة «تويوتا كراون»، وهو لا يكتفي بالشكل فقط، بل يحتفظ بكل تقنيات الرفاهية الموجودة داخل السيارة: كنظام تدفئة، وتبريد، ودعم كهربائي للظهر، وإحساس بالراحة وكأنك داخل مركبة تسير على سرعة ثابتة، ولكن على ارتفاع «صفر متر» داخل مكتبك!
والإبداع لم يتوقف عند الراحة، فقد قررت تويوتا الاحتفاظ بـ«مشبك حزام الأمان» في الكرسي، لكنها حولته بذكاء إلى منفذ USB-C لشحن أجهزتك. كما زُوّد الكرسي ببطارية داخلية قابلة للشحن، مما يمنحك حرية التحرك به داخل المكتب دون قيود الأسلاك، ليصبح وكأنه «مقعد متنقل».
لكن الكرسي ليس منتجاً تجارياً عادياً، فهو نتاج تعاون بين «Toyota Boshoku» وشركة الأثاث «Itoki». ولأن الشركة قررت طرح 70 قطعة فقط منه بسعر يصل إلى 3100 دولار، فقد وضعت شرطاً يضيف المزيد من الإثارة: لا يمكنك شراء الكرسي بالمال وحده، بل يجب أن تدخل «قرعة» والفوز بها!
وبين رفاهية السيارات وجنون الابتكار، أثبتت تويوتا أنها لا تكتفي بالقيادة في الطرق فحسب، بل تطمح لغزو المكاتب بأكثر الطرق غرابة وتميزاً.

The chair is entirely inspired by the "Toyota Crown" car, and it does not only boast the appearance, but also retains all the luxury features found inside the vehicle: such as a heating system, cooling, electric lumbar support, and a feeling of comfort as if you are inside a vehicle moving at a steady speed, but at a "zero meter" height inside your office!
The creativity did not stop at comfort; Toyota decided to retain the "seatbelt buckle" in the chair, but cleverly transformed it into a USB-C port for charging your devices. The chair is also equipped with a rechargeable internal battery, giving you the freedom to move around the office without the constraints of wires, making it feel like a "mobile seat."
However, the chair is not an ordinary commercial product; it is the result of collaboration between "Toyota Boshoku" and the furniture company "Itoki." Since the company decided to release only 70 pieces at a price of up to $3,100, it has set a condition that adds more excitement: you cannot buy the chair with money alone; you must enter a "lottery" and win it!
