أعلن الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، تقديم قائمة من 40 خبيرًا دوليًا للجمعية العامة لتشكيل فريق علمي دولي مستقل معني بالذكاء الاصطناعي؛ بهدف سد فجوة المعرفة وتقييم آثارها الاقتصادية والاجتماعية العالمية.
ويضم الفريق خبرات متنوعة تشمل التعلم الآلي، وحوكمة البيانات، والأمن السيبراني، والصحة العامة، وحقوق الإنسان، وسيعمل الأعضاء باستقلال تام عن الحكومات والشركات.
ويأتي تشكيل هذا الفريق استجابة لتكليف الدول الأعضاء في «ميثاق المستقبل» لتعزيز التعاون المتعدد الأطراف في مجال التكنولوجيا الناشئة.
ومن المتوقع أن يصدر الفريق الدولي تقريره الأول لدعم صانعي القرار، قبل «الحوار العالمي حول حوكمة الذكاء الاصطناعي» الذي يعقد في يوليو القادم.
The United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres announced the submission of a list of 40 international experts to the General Assembly to form an independent international scientific team concerned with artificial intelligence; with the aim of bridging the knowledge gap and assessing its global economic and social impacts.
The team includes diverse expertise in machine learning, data governance, cybersecurity, public health, and human rights, and its members will operate completely independently from governments and corporations.
The formation of this team comes in response to a mandate from member states in the "Charter of the Future" to enhance multilateral cooperation in the field of emerging technologies.
The international team is expected to issue its first report to support decision-makers before the "Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Governance" scheduled for next July.
