في مباراة افتتاحية مشوقة ضمن منافسات كأس العالم للأندية 2025، انتهت مواجهة النادي الأهلي المصري وإنتر ميامي الأمريكي بالتعادل السلبي (0-0) على ملعب هارد روك في ميامي بالولايات المتحدة.
شهدت المباراة أداءً قويًا من الفريقين، حيث تبادلا السيطرة وأتيحت لهما فرص عديدة للتسجيل، لكن تألق الحارسين وحسن التنظيم الدفاعي حال دون هز الشباك.
انطلقت المباراة في تمام الساعة الـ3:00 فجرًا بتوقيت القاهرة (الـ8:00 مساءً بتوقيت الولايات المتحدة)، وسط حضور جماهيري كبير وأجواء احتفالية تليق بحدث عالمي بحجم كأس العالم للأندية.
قدم الأهلي بطل أفريقيا، أداءً مميزًا منذ البداية، حيث هدد مرمى إنتر ميامي في أكثر من مناسبة، بفضل تحركات لاعبيه السريعة وقوة خط وسطه.
وفي الدقيقة 14 تعرض إمام عاشور، نجم الأهلي، لإصابة أجبرته على مغادرة الملعب، ليحل محله أحمد سيد زيزو الذي أضاف حيوية لخط الهجوم.

ووفقًا للائحة البطولة، حصل الأهلي على مكافأة مالية قدرها مليون دولار نظير التعادل، بينما تبلغ مكافأة الفوز في الدور الأول مليون ونص مليون دولار.
