علّق قائد منتخب البرتغال ونادي النصر السعودي كريستيانو رونالدو على تعثر منتخب بلاده في فخ التعادل أمام الكونغو الديمقراطية (1-1) بالمباراة التي جمعت المنتخبين أمس (الأربعاء)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات ببطولة كأس العالم 2026، بتغريدة عبر حسابه الرسمي على «إكس» قائلاً: «لم تكن البداية التي كنا نتمناها، لكن الأمر لم ينتهِ بعد، فلنرفع رؤوسنا ولنركز على المباراة القادمة».
وأهدر المنتخب البرتغالي فرصة تحقيق بداية مثالية في البطولة، مكتفياً بنقطة واحدة، بينما انتزع منتخب الكونغو الديمقراطية نقطة ثمينة قبل المواجهة الأخرى في المجموعة التي تجمع كولومبيا وأوزبكستان فجر اليوم (الخميس).
ودخلت البرتغال اللقاء بقوة وفرضت سيطرتها على مجريات اللعب منذ الدقائق الأولى، لينجح جواو نيفيز في افتتاح التسجيل مبكراً برأسية متقنة في الدقيقة السادسة.
ورغم استحواذ المنتخب البرتغالي على الكرة فترات طويلة، إلا أن دفاع الكونغو الديمقراطية المنظم حد من خطورته الهجومية، وافتقرت محاولاته إلى الفاعلية في الثلث الأخير من الملعب.
