حيث استعاد كافة عشاق كرة القدم استضافة أمريكا مونديال كأس العالم للأندية 2025، التي كانت الأجواء المناخية فيها قوية وصعبة جداً، خصوصاً في مدينة «أوستن».
وذكرت صحيفة «leparisien» الفرنسية أن الـ«FIFA» يستعد لمواجهة أكبر تحدّ له في النهائيات، بعد تجربة مونديال الأندية، إذ بسبب الظروف الجوية القاسية المرتقب أن تطرأ خلال نهائيات كأس العالم 2026 سيتخذ الفيفا خطوات قانونية استثنائية وخاصة.
وأكدت الصحيفة أن البروتوكول الأمريكي للمونديال ينص على تعليق المباريات فوراً في حال رصد صواعق ضمن محيط دائري نصف قطره 13 كيلومتراً من الملعب.
وفي حالة هبوب العواصف أو ظهور الصواعق سيتم تعليق المباريات فوراً ولا يمكن استئناف المباريات إلا في حال الإبلاغ عن مستجدات خلال الـ30 دقيقة الموالية.
وأشارت إلى أن «الفيفا» لم يحدد مهلة زمنية محددة في لوائحه لإلغاء المباريات في حال حدوث صواعق أو أوضاع مناخية طارئه، إذ لا يملك الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم قانوناً محدداً ينص على الحد الأدنى لمدة التأجيل قبل إلغاء المباراة نهائياً.
ومع ذلك، وفي حال تكرار العواصف، قد تطول المباريات، كما حدث في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية صيف 2025 في الولايات المتحدة، لتستمر حتى ساعتين بدلاً من 90 دقيقة مثلاً.
وقالت المصادر ذاتها إن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) «مستعد لتطبيق بروتوكولات الطوارئ»، وفي الوقت الراهن، اكتفى الفيفا، في بيان صحفي الشهر الماضي، بالقول إنه يدرك تماماً تأثير الظروف الجوية السيئة على البطولة.
وأكد البيان: يُطلب من الملاعب تطبيق إجراءات صارمة لإدارة المخاطر والإخلاء، بما في ذلك بروتوكولات خاصة بالعواصف والظروف الجوية القاسية، وفقاً للتشريعات المحلية وأفضل الممارسات الدولية.
وأوضح الفيفا أنه سيراقب الظروف في الوقت الفعلي من خلال دمج مراقبة درجة حرارة الهواء الرطب ومؤشر الحرارة، مع تجهيز خطط مناسبة لتطبيق بروتوكولات الطوارئ المُعتمدة لمواجهة الظروف الجوية القاسية حتى لو تطلب ذلك تأخير انطلاق المباريات أو الشوط الثاني لعدة ساعات.

It was noted that FIFA has not set a specific time frame in its regulations for canceling matches in the event of lightning or emergency weather conditions, as the international football federation does not have a specific law that states the minimum delay period before a match can be canceled completely.
However, in the case of repeated storms, matches may be extended, as happened in the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States, lasting up to two hours instead of 90 minutes, for example.
Sources indicated that FIFA is "ready to implement emergency protocols," and for now, FIFA has only stated in a press release last month that it is fully aware of the impact of bad weather conditions on the tournament.
The statement emphasized: Stadiums are required to implement strict risk management and evacuation procedures, including protocols specific to storms and severe weather conditions, in accordance with local regulations and best international practices.
FIFA clarified that it will monitor conditions in real-time by integrating the monitoring of wet bulb temperature and heat index, while preparing appropriate plans to implement the approved emergency protocols to address severe weather conditions, even if this requires delaying the start of matches or the second half for several hours.
