يخوض منتخبنا الوطني السعودي تحت 16 عاما نهائي بطولة كأس اتحاد غرب آسيا تحت 17 عاما الـ12، إذ سيواجه نظيره منتخب لبنان عند السابعة من مساء غد (الثلاثاء) على ملعب العقبة في ختام البطولة التي تستضيفها الأردن.
على الصعيد الميداني، عاود «أخضر 16» اليوم (الإثنين) تدريباته تحت إشراف المدرب الوطني أحمد الحنفوش والجهاز الفني المساعد، بعد فوزهم أمس (الأحد) على المستضيف منتخب الأردن ضمن الدور نصف النهائي من البطولة، وطبّق اللاعبون خلال الحصة التدريبية مراناً استرجاعياً، أعقبه العمل على الجوانب التكتيكية.
ويدخل منتخبنا الوطني هذا اللقاء بعد تصدره منتخبات المجموعة الأولى برصيد 7 نقاط حصدها من انتصارين وتعادل، وفي نصف النهائي انتصر «الأخضر» على مستضيف البطولة منتخب الأردن بركلات الترجيح 4/ 3 بعد انتهاء الأشواط الأصلية بالتعادل بهدف لكل منهما.
فيما يدخل منتخب لبنان هذا اللقاء بعد أن احتل وصافة المجموعة الأولى خلف منتخبنا الوطني برصيد 5 نقاط حصدها من فوز وتعادلين، وفي نصف النهائي فاز المنتخب اللبناني على شقيقه السوري بركلات الترجيح 5/ 4، وسبق أن التقى المنتخبان في دور المجموعات وانتهى اللقاء بالتعادل السلبي.
Our national under-16 football team is entering the final of the 12th West Asian Football Federation U-17 Cup, where they will face their counterpart, the Lebanese team, at 7 PM tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Aqaba Stadium, concluding the tournament hosted by Jordan.

The Lebanese team enters this match after finishing second in Group A behind our national team, with 5 points earned from one win and two draws. In the semi-finals, the Lebanese team won against their Syrian counterparts in a penalty shootout 5-4, and the two teams previously met in the group stage, ending the match in a goalless draw.
