خطف الفتح بطاقة التأهل لدور ربع النهائي من مسابقة كأس الملك، إثر فوزه على ضيفه الرياض بهدفين دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي جرى مساء اليوم (الإثنين)، على ملعب ميدان تمويل الأولى بالأحساء.
سجل الفتح هدفيه في شوط المباراة الثاني؛ الهدف الأول جاء من ركلة حرة مباشرة أرسلها المغربي مراد باتنا كرة قوية استقرت على يمين بوريان (د:63) وجاء هدف الفتح الثاني من كرة عرضية لعبها فهد الزبيدي برأسه على يسار بوريان (د:74) معلنة تقدم الفتح بهدفين وتأهله لدور ربع النهائي من بطولة كأس الملك.
Al-Fateh secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the King’s Cup after defeating their guest Al-Riyadh with a score of two goals to none, in a match that took place this evening (Monday) at the Maysan Tamweel Stadium in Al-Ahsa.
Al-Fateh scored both of their goals in the second half of the match; the first goal came from a direct free kick taken by Moroccan Murad Batna, whose powerful shot found the back of the net to the right of Boryan (63rd minute). The second goal for Al-Fateh came from a cross played by Fahd Al-Zubaidi, which he headed to the left of Boryan (74th minute), announcing Al-Fateh's lead with two goals and their qualification for the quarter-finals of the King’s Cup.
