أكد رئيس مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، ياسر المسحل، أن الاتحاد سيلتزم بتطبيق أي قرار يصدر عن مركز التحكيم الرياضي بشأن بطل كأس السوبر السعودي، حتى وإن قضى بسحب اللقب من الأهلي.
وكان قرار لجنة الاستئناف في الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ضد نادي الهلال، والمتعلق بامتناع «الزعيم» عن المشاركة في مسابقة كأس السوبر السعودي للموسم الرياضي 2025-2026، قد أثار جدلاً واسعاً في الأوساط الرياضية، إذ تم قبول استئناف الهلال شكلاً، مع إلزامه بدفع غرامة قدرها 500 ألف ريال، واعتباره خاسراً أمام القادسية بنتيجة 3-0، وحرمانه من المشاركة بأول مسابقة خروج مغلوب، وكذلك حرمانه من أي مخصصات مالية لدرجة اللعبة، ومصادرة رسوم الاستئناف، وهو ما أعاد النقاش حول مدى أحقية مشاركة الأهلي في البطولة، بدلاً من تأهل القادسية مباشرة إلى المباراة النهائية.
لاتزال القضية منظورة
الأهلي، الذي لم يكن له مقعد في البطولة قبل إعلان الهلال عدم مشاركته في كأس السوبر السعودي، تمكن من تجاوز القادسية بخمسة أهداف مقابل هدف في نصف النهائي، قبل أن يُتوج باللقب بعد فوزه على النصر بركلات الترجيح بخمسة أهداف مقابل ثلاثة، عقب انتهاء وقت اللقاء بالتعادل بهدفين لمثلهما، ولا تزال القضية منظورة حالياً أمام مركز التحكيم الرياضي بعد الشكوى المقدمة من نادي الهلال.
وقال المسحل في تصريحات لبرنامج «في الصورة» على قناة «روتانا خليجية»: «النظام الأساسي للاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ينص على وجوب تنفيذ أي قرار يصدر عن مركز التحكيم الرياضي، الأهلي هو بطل كأس السوبر، وهذا ما تم تسجيله رسمياً في كشوفات الاتحاد ومن قبل فريق عمل التوثيق».
وأضاف: «حالياً، القضية ما زالت منظورة، والنظام يمنعني من التعليق عليها باعتبار أن الاتحاد طرف فيها، لكن ما يمكنني تأكيده هو أن الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم سيحترم وينفذ أي قرار يصدر عن مركز التحكيم الرياضي».
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mashel, confirmed that the federation will adhere to any decision issued by the Sports Arbitration Center regarding the champion of the Saudi Super Cup, even if it rules to withdraw the title from Al-Ahli.
The decision of the Appeals Committee in the Saudi Football Federation against Al-Hilal, related to the "leader's" refusal to participate in the Saudi Super Cup for the 2025-2026 sports season, has sparked widespread controversy in sports circles, as Al-Hilal's appeal was accepted in form, obliging them to pay a fine of 500,000 riyals, and considering them to have lost to Al-Qadisiyah with a score of 3-0, as well as depriving them of participating in the first knockout competition, and denying them any financial allocations for the level of the game, along with confiscating the appeal fees. This has reignited the discussion about the legitimacy of Al-Ahli's participation in the tournament, instead of Al-Qadisiyah qualifying directly for the final match.
The case is still pending
Al-Ahli, which did not have a seat in the tournament before Al-Hilal announced its non-participation in the Saudi Super Cup, managed to overcome Al-Qadisiyah with a score of five goals to one in the semi-finals, before being crowned the champion after defeating Al-Nassr in a penalty shootout with a score of five to three, following a draw at the end of the match with two goals each. The case is currently still pending before the Sports Arbitration Center after a complaint was filed by Al-Hilal.
Al-Mashel stated in remarks to the program "In the Picture" on Rotana Khalejia channel: "The basic system of the Saudi Football Federation stipulates that any decision issued by the Sports Arbitration Center must be implemented. Al-Ahli is the champion of the Super Cup, and this is what has been officially recorded in the federation's records and by the documentation team."
He added: "Currently, the case is still pending, and the system prevents me from commenting on it as the federation is a party to it, but what I can confirm is that the Saudi Football Federation will respect and implement any decision issued by the Sports Arbitration Center."
