The new coach of the Al-Ittihad team, Portuguese Sergio Conceição, arrived in Jeddah this morning (Thursday) accompanied by the assistant coaching staff, and he is set to lead his first training session with the team in preparation for the league match against Al-Faihah.

Conceição's coaching staff includes João Costa as an assistant coach, Fábio Moura as a second assistant, Diamantino Ferreira as the goalkeeping coach, along with Vedran Runji as the second goalkeeping coach, Siramana Dembélé as a technical analyst, and Bruno Matos as a fitness coach.

Conceição has coaching experience that began in 2010 when he worked as an assistant coach at Standard Liège in Belgium before taking over as the head coach of Olhanense in Portugal in 2012. He has moved between several clubs, most notably Nantes in France, Porto in Portugal, and AC Milan in Italy.

The coach has several titles in his career, most notably the Portuguese league, which he won 3 times with Porto.
