حقق أبطال المنتخب السعودي لألعاب القوى البارالمبية إنجازًا مميزًا في بطولة العالم التي أقيمت في جمهورية الهند، بحصدهم 5 ميداليات متنوعة، «ذهبية، و3 فضيات، وبرونزية».
وتُوج العداء نايف المسرحي بالميدالية الذهبية في سباق (100) متر، محققًا رقمًا عالميًّا جديدًا بزمن قدره (10.94) ثوانٍ، ليؤكد تفوقه على مستوى المنافسات الدولية، ونال الواثب البارالمبي حسن دوشي الميدالية الفضية في منافسات الوثب الطويل، بعد أن قفز لمسافة (7.36) متر، محققًا رقمًا شخصيًّا جديدًا في مسيرته.
وفي سباق (800) متر حصل العداء مشعل محوطان على الميدالية الفضية، بعد أداء قوي أهّله لاعتلاء منصة التتويج ضمن نخبة من العدائين العالميين، ليواصل الأخضر تألقه، إذ نال البطل عبدالرحمن القرشي الميدالية الفضية في سباق (100) متر (كراسٍ متحركة)، بعدما حلّ في المركز الثاني بزمن (14.65) ثانية.
من جانبه أحرز العداء إدريس سفياني الميدالية البرونزية في سباق (400) متر، مسجلًا رقمًا شخصيًا جديدًا بزمن (47.55) ثانية.
يذكر أن المملكة شاركت في الحدث العالمي بـ(12) لاعبًا ولاعبة، هم: عبدالرحمن القرشي «كراسٍ متحركة»، حسن دوشي «الوثب الطويل»، جمعان الزهراني «كراسٍ متحركة»، نور الصناع «جري»، علي النخلي «جري»، البراء القرني «كراسٍ متحركة»، نايف المسرحي «جري»، عبدالمجيد غفيري «جري»، مشعل محوطان «جري»، هاني النخلي «دفع الجلة»، هديل الثويعي «دفع جلة»، حيدر سلامي «دفع الجلة ـ رمي القرص».

The champions of the Saudi Paralympic athletics team achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the World Championship held in the Republic of India, winning 5 diverse medals: "one gold, three silvers, and one bronze."
Runner Nayef Al-Masri was awarded the gold medal in the (100) meter race, achieving a new world record with a time of (10.94) seconds, confirming his superiority at the international competition level. Paralympic long jumper Hassan Doushi won the silver medal in the long jump event after jumping a distance of (7.36) meters, achieving a new personal best in his career.
In the (800) meter race, runner Mishal Mahoutan secured the silver medal after a strong performance that qualified him to stand on the podium among a select group of global runners. The green team continued to shine, as champion Abdulrahman Al-Qurashi won the silver medal in the (100) meter race (wheelchair), finishing in second place with a time of (14.65) seconds.
For his part, runner Idris Sifiani won the bronze medal in the (400) meter race, recording a new personal best with a time of (47.55) seconds.
