اختُتمت في صالة «ذا أرينا» بالعاصمة السعودية الرياض منافسات الدور نصف النهائي من بطولة دوري المقاتلين المحترفين للفنون القتالية المختلطة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وسط حضور جماهيري كبير وأجواء تنافسية مثيرة، لتتحدد بذلك ملامح النزالات النهائية المرتقبة التي ستقام في مدينة الخبر يوم 5 ديسمبر القادم.
وشهدت الجولة أداءً استثنائياً من المقاتلين ومفاجآت مدوّية كان أبرزها النزال الذي جمع الكويتي محمد الأقرع والمصري أيمن جلال، ونجح الأقرع في حسم المواجهة بالضربة القاضية خلال 10 ثوانٍ فقط، ليخطف بطاقة التأهل إلى النهائي ويضرب موعداً مع المغربي بدرالدين دياني الذي تفوق بدوره على الإيراني أمير فضلي بقرار الحكام في نزال حافل بالإثارة.
وفي باقي نتائج الدور نصف النهائي، حقق الجزائري يانيس غاموري الفوز على الأردني عزالدين درباني بقرار الحكام بالإجماع، فيما تمكن المغربي صلاح الدين حاملي من الإطاحة بالجزائري سهيل ثائري ليواجه في النهائي العراقي محمد فهمي الذي فجّر المفاجأة الأكبر بإقصاء حامل اللقب الإيراني محسن صيفي بالضربة القاضية في الجولة الأولى. كما تفوق المصري إسلام يوسف على المغربي خافيير العلوي ليواجه الأردني نورس أبزاخ الذي تأهل على حساب الجزائري مختار بن قاسي، فيما حجز المصري إسلام رضا بطاقة العبور إلى النهائي بعد فوزه على المغربي طه بن داود.
وشهدت الأمسية تألقاً سعودياً لافتاً من خلال المقاتل مالك باسهل الذي واصل سلسلة انتصاراته بتحقيق فوزه الاحترافي الثاني بعد إخضاع المصري أحمد مصطفى، في أداء وصفه المدير العام للمنظمة جيروم مازيت بأنه «احترافي ومذهل»، مشيداً في الوقت ذاته بالدور الريادي للمملكة العربية السعودية في مشهد الفنون القتالية ونجاحها في ترسيخ مكانتها كمنصة عالمية للأحداث الرياضية الكبرى.
وأكد مازيت أن اختيار مدينة الخبر لاستضافة النهائيات في 5 ديسمبر القادم جاء نتيجة ما تتمتع به من موقع إستراتيجي وجمهور شغوف بالفنون القتالية، كاشفاً عن محطة فارقة في مسيرة البطولة تتمثل في خوض المقاتلة السعودية هتان السيف أول نزال احترافي لها، إلى جانب الظهور المرتقب لإيثار حيان في نزال استعراضي يمهّد لانطلاقتها القادمة.
واختتم مازيت بتأكيد أن نهائيات الخبر ستكون الأقوى والأكثر إثارة في تاريخ البطولة على مستوى المنطقة، مشيراً إلى أن السعودية لم تعد مجرد مستضيف للبطولات، بل أصبحت وجهة عالمية تحتضن أبرز النزالات وتصنع من خلالها أبطال المستقبل في عالم الفنون القتالية.
