أعلنت رابطة الدوري الفرنسي، أمس (الجمعة)، أن الكويت ستستضيف النسخة القادمة من كأس الأبطال (السوبر الفرنسي)، والتي ستجمع بين باريس سان جيرمان وأولمبيك مارسيليا.
وقالت الرابطة في بيان: «ستُقام النسخة الحادية والثلاثون من كأس الأبطال يوم الخميس 8 يناير 2026 في الكويت».
وأضاف البيان: «بالتعاون مع الاتحاد الكويتي لكرة القدم، ستجمع هذه المباراة بين ناديي باريس سان جيرمان (بطل الدوري الفرنسي وكأس فرنسا) وأولمبيك مارسيليا (وصيف الدوري) على ملعب جابر الأحمد الدولي».
وسيكون هذا اللقاء الثالث تاريخياً بين الفريقين في بطولة السوبر، بعد مواجهتي عامي 2010 و2020، في تكرار لما يُعرف بـ«كلاسيكو فرنسا» على أرض عربية.
ومن المقرر أن تُعلن رابطة الدوري الفرنسي عن توقيت المباراة لاحقاً، على أن تُبث مباشرة عبر قناة «Ligue 1+».
The French league association announced yesterday (Friday) that Kuwait will host the upcoming edition of the Champions Cup (French Super Cup), which will bring together Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Marseille.
The association stated in a statement: "The thirty-first edition of the Champions Cup will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Kuwait."
The statement added: "In collaboration with the Kuwait Football Association, this match will feature Paris Saint-Germain (the French league and French Cup champion) and Olympique Marseille (the league runner-up) at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium."
This will be the third historical meeting between the two teams in the Super Cup, following encounters in 2010 and 2020, repeating what is known as the "Classico of France" on Arab soil.
The French league association is set to announce the match timing later, and it will be broadcast live on the "Ligue 1+" channel.
