تأهل منتخبنا الوطني السعودي تحت 17 عاماً لدور نصف نهائي كأس الخليج للناشئين في نسختها الأولى، بعد فوزه القوي على منتخب الكويت بنتيجة 4/ صفر، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما مساء اليوم (الثلاثاء) على استاد حمد الكبير بالنادي العربي، ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثانية.
أحرز أهداف منتخبنا الوطني صبري دهل هدفين (د:45+3، 87) وعبدالهادي مطري هدفين (د:52، 82)، ليصل «الأخضر» إلى 6 نقاط من انتصارين متتاليين، ليصبح أول المنتخبات التي تحجز مقعدها في المربع الذهبي للبطولة.
وشهد اللقاء سيطرة لمنتخبا الوطني وتمكن ناشئو الأخضر من هز الشباك قبل نهاية الشوط الأول في الدقيقة الثالثة من الوقت بدل الضائع عبر اللاعب صبري دهل، بعدما استغل هجمة سريعة، وواصل الأخضر اندفاعه الهجومي في الشوط الثاني ليضيف القائد عبدالهادي مطري الهدف الثاني برأسية جميلة (د:52)، وعزز مطري النتيجة بهدف ثالث رائع عند الدقيقة 82، قبل أن يختتم صبري دهل مهرجان الأهداف بتسجيله الهدف الرابع في الدقيقة 87، ليؤكد أحقية منتخبنا الوطني بالفوز والتأهل المبكر.
وبهذه النتيجة يتصدر المنتخب السعودي منتخبات المجموعة الثانية بالعلامة الكاملة ويضمن التأهل لنصف النهائي، فيما تجمد رصيد منتخب الكويت عند نقطة واحدة.

Our Saudi national team under 17 has qualified for the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup for youth in its first edition, after a strong victory over the Kuwait national team with a score of 4-0, in the match that took place this evening (Tuesday) at Hamad Al-Kabeer Stadium at Al-Arabi Club, as part of the second group matches.
The goals for our national team were scored by Sabri Dahil with two goals (min: 45+3, 87) and Abdulhadi Matar with two goals (min: 52, 82), bringing the "Green" to 6 points from two consecutive victories, making it the first team to secure a spot in the tournament's final four.
The match witnessed dominance from our national team, and the youth of the Green managed to find the net before the end of the first half in the third minute of stoppage time through player Sabri Dahil, who took advantage of a quick counter-attack. The Green continued their offensive momentum in the second half, with captain Abdulhadi Matar adding the second goal with a beautiful header (min: 52), and Matar strengthened the score with a fantastic third goal in the 82nd minute, before Sabri Dahil concluded the goal festival by scoring the fourth goal in the 87th minute, confirming our national team's right to win and early qualification.
With this result, the Saudi team leads the second group with a perfect score and secures qualification for the semi-finals, while the Kuwait national team's points remain at one.
