أثبت المنتخب السعودي للتجديف حضوره القوي في نهائيات بطولة آسيا للتجديف الشاطئي السريع 2025، التي احتضنها شاطئ نانشا بيتش بمدينة زهوشان الصينية، بعد أن أنهى مشاركته بحصيلة تاريخية بلغت مداليتين فضيتين وأربع برونزيات، وسط منافسات قوية جمعت نخبة القوارب الآسيوية، إذ ضمّت بعثة المنتخب المشاركة في البطولة كلًا من: حسن قادري، ردعان الدوسري، مفلح الخالدي، عبدالله المامي، تركي العارف، الجازي الإبراهيم، إسراء قادري، هيا المامي، مؤيد الرشيدي، حيث قدّم جميع اللاعبين مستويات مشرفة وروحًا عالية عكست تطور اللعبة في المملكة، بقيادة المدير الفني ماثيو تارانِت، وبمساندة المدرب فيرناندو غوميز، حيث عملا على تطوير أداء اللاعبين وتهيئتهم لمستوى عالٍ من المنافسة. كما كان للإداري حمود الشمري دور بارز في توفير الدعم اللوجستي وضمان الجاهزية الكاملة للبعثة، حتى تمكن اللاعبون من تسجيل هذا الإنجاز الذي جاء على النحو التالي:

من جانبه عبّر رئيس الاتحاد السعودي للتجديف علي بن حسين علي رضا، عن فخره بالإنجاز الذي حققه المنتخب السعودي في هذا المحفل الدول، وقال: «نحمد الله على هذا الإنجاز القاري الذي تزامن مع شهر الوطن وقرب احتفالات اليوم الوطني، ونعتبره عربون وفاء وعطاء لهذا الوطن الغالي. نهديه أولا إلى مقام خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده الأمين -حفظهما الله- وإلى الشعب السعودي الكريم الذي يقف دائمًا خلف إنجازات أبنائه. ما تحقق اليوم هو ثمرة جهد وإصرار من لاعبي ولاعبات المنتخب، ودعم متواصل من الأجهزة الفنية والإدارية وإدارة الاتحاد، ونعاهد وطننا العزيز على أن نواصل العمل لاعتلاء منصات التتويج ورفع راية المملكة عالية في كل محفل دولي».
وكانت نائب رئيس الاتحاد شرين أبو الحسن، حاضرة لدعم اللاعبين واللاعبات عن قرب وتعزيز مشاركتهم في هذه البطولة القارية، فيما أشرف المدير التنفيذي للاتحاد يوسف جليدان، بشكل مباشر على مشاركة الفريق ومتابعة تفاصيل العمل الميداني.
The Saudi national rowing team demonstrated a strong presence at the finals of the 2025 Asian Beach Sprint Rowing Championship, held at Nansha Beach in the Chinese city of Zhuhai, after finishing their participation with a historic tally of two silver medals and four bronze medals, amidst fierce competition that brought together the elite Asian boats. The delegation of the national team participating in the championship included: Hassan Qadri, Rad'an Al-Dosari, Muflih Al-Khalidi, Abdullah Al-Mami, Turki Al-Aref, Al-Jazi Al-Ibrahim, Israa Qadri, Haya Al-Mami, and Muayid Al-Rashidi, where all the players presented commendable levels and high spirits that reflected the development of the sport in the Kingdom, under the leadership of head coach Matthew Taranet, and with the support of coach Fernando Gomez, who worked on enhancing the players' performance and preparing them for a high level of competition. The administrator Hamoud Al-Shammari also played a prominent role in providing logistical support and ensuring the full readiness of the delegation, enabling the players to achieve this accomplishment, which came as follows:

For his part, the President of the Saudi Rowing Federation, Ali bin Hussein Ali Redha, expressed his pride in the achievement of the Saudi team at this international event, saying: "We thank God for this continental achievement that coincided with the month of the homeland and the upcoming celebrations of National Day, and we consider it a token of loyalty and giving to this dear nation. We dedicate it first to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince - may God protect them - and to the generous Saudi people who always stand behind the achievements of their children. What has been achieved today is the fruit of the effort and determination of the male and female players of the national team, and the continuous support from the technical and administrative staff and the federation's management. We pledge to our dear homeland that we will continue to work to ascend the podiums of victory and raise the flag of the Kingdom high in every international event."
The Vice President of the Federation, Sherin Abu Al-Hassan, was present to support the male and female players closely and enhance their participation in this continental championship, while the Executive Director of the Federation, Youssef Jlaydan, directly supervised the team's participation and followed up on the details of the fieldwork.
