تفوق الرياض على ضيفه النجمة بهدفين لهدف، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب نادي الشباب بالرياض، ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثانية من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء إحراز أسرع هدف لهذا الموسم عن طريق البرتغالي أنطونيو توزي نجم الرياض بعد مرور 37 ثانية فقط من انطلاقة المباراة، وأضاف زميله مامادو سيلا الهدف الثاني (د:19)، وتمكن النجمة من تقليص الفارق بعد أن أحرز البرازيلي لازارو فينيسيوس الهدف الأول (د:51).
وفي الوقت بدل الضائع من عمر اللقاء تحصل العراقي إبراهيم بايش لاعب فريق الرياض على البطاقة الحمراء، عقب حصوله على الصفراء الثانية لينتهي اللقاء لمصلحة الرياض بهدفين لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الرياض فوزه الأول ويحصد 3 نقاط، وسيلاقي في الجولة القادمة مضيّفه وجاره النصر، فيما تلقى النجمة الخسارة الثانية على التوالي وبقي دون نقاط، وسيواجه في الجولة القادمة ضيفه الاتحاد.

Al-Riyadh defeated its guest Al-Najma with a score of two goals to one in the match held at the Al-Shabab Club Stadium in Riyadh, as part of the second round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.

In stoppage time, Iraqi player Ibrahim Bayesh of Al-Riyadh received a red card after receiving a second yellow, ending the match in favor of Al-Riyadh with a score of two goals to one.
