Real Madrid has decided to file an official complaint against Spanish refereeing with FIFA, following the red card issued to their player, Dean Huysen, in the 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad in La Liga.
The decision by referee Jesús Gil Manzano against Huysen came in the 32nd minute for allegedly fouling Oyarzabal, who was making a run towards the goal, while the players of the royal team protested that Militao was also close to the ball, considering that their teammate did not deserve to be sent off.
According to Real Madrid's official television channel, "Los Merengues are preparing a report that includes everything that happened with refereeing last season and this season in the Spanish league," to send to "FIFA" and inform them of what is happening.
With this hard-fought victory, Real Madrid raised their points total to 12, at the top of the La Liga standings, while Sociedad's points remained at two, in 17th place.
