أكد عضو فريق توثيق تاريخ كرة القدم السعودية عبدالإله النجيمي أن الفريق اعتمد بشكل أساسي على وثيقة المصطلحات والتعريفات لمعالجة أي تضارب أو اختلاف في المصادر المتعلقة بتوثيق البطولات، مشدداً على أن هذه الوثيقة شكّلت المرجع الأول في حل الخلافات.
وقال النجيمي: «حين يكون هناك تعريف ومصطلح واضح لكل جزئية، مهما بدت بسيطة، فإن ذلك يساعد على تقليل الجدل ويجعل المعايير واضحة أمام الجميع. وعندما تصبح المعايير واضحة، لن يجد أي طرف سبباً للاعتراض أو التشكيك».
وأوضح أن الوثيقة ساعدت في تجنب التصادمات التي قد تنشأ نتيجة السعي لاكتساب مكتسبات غير منصوص عليها في اللوائح، أو محاولة الانتقاص من إنجازات أندية أخرى، مضيفاً: «الاتفاق على المصطلحات والتعريفات في البداية هو ما صنع أرضية مشتركة ضمنت العدالة والوضوح».
وعن شمول التوثيق لإنجازات اللاعبين، قال النجيمي: «هذا من التوصيات المطروحة، وإذا ما تم الانتقال إلى مرحلة ثانية للتوثيق فستكون إنجازات اللاعبين والرؤساء أحد الجوانب الأساسية التي يجري العمل على رصدها».
كما تطرق إلى كرة القدم النسائية، مشيراً إلى أن الفريق خصص لها مساحة واضحة في التوثيق: «عرضنا في المؤتمر جزءاً كاملاً عن مسابقات كرة القدم النسائية، ونحن نفتخر بهذا الجانب، بل إنني شخصياً كأب لإحدى اللاعبات أجد حافزاً أكبر للدفاع عن مكانة كرة القدم النسائية ضمن مسيرة التوثيق».

A member of the Saudi Football History Documentation Team, Abdulilah Al-Najimi, confirmed that the team primarily relied on the document of terms and definitions to address any conflicts or discrepancies in the sources related to documenting championships, emphasizing that this document has become the primary reference in resolving disputes.
Al-Najimi stated: "When there is a clear definition and term for each aspect, no matter how simple it may seem, it helps reduce controversy and makes the standards clear to everyone. When the standards are clear, no party will find a reason to object or doubt."
He explained that the document helped avoid clashes that could arise from the pursuit of gains not stipulated in the regulations, or attempts to undermine the achievements of other clubs, adding: "Agreeing on the terms and definitions at the outset is what created a common ground that ensured fairness and clarity."
Regarding the inclusion of player achievements in the documentation, Al-Najimi said: "This is one of the proposed recommendations, and if we move to a second phase of documentation, the achievements of players and presidents will be one of the key aspects being worked on."
He also touched on women's football, noting that the team has allocated a clear space for it in the documentation: "We presented a complete section on women's football competitions at the conference, and we take pride in this aspect. Personally, as a father of one of the players, I find a greater incentive to advocate for the status of women's football within the documentation process."
