The Kingdom Championship for Youth and Girls in Badminton kicked off today at the indoor sports hall in Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, and it will continue from August 27 to 29, with the participation of 26 clubs and more than 100 male and female players from various clubs across the Kingdom.

The championship includes singles and doubles competitions held in a knockout format, with the preliminary rounds taking place on the first day. The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be held on the second day, and the championship will conclude on Friday with the final matches and the crowning of the winners.

The championship comes as part of the Saudi Badminton Federation's commitment to discovering and honing promising talents and expanding the base of participants, which enhances the presence of the sport and prepares a future generation to represent the Kingdom in continental and international forums.
