دخلت إدارة نادي الشباب في مفاوضات جادة مع نظيرتها في نادي الاتحاد، حيث طلبت استعارة اللاعب معاذ فقيهي مقابل التنازل عن الأشهر الستة المتبقية في عقد الحارس محمد العبسي لصالح الاتحاد.
وانضم الظهير الأيسر معاذ فقيهي صاحب الـ23 عاماً إلى صفوف نادي الاتحاد في صيف 2024 قادماً من الهلال في صفقة لمدة 4 مواسم.
وظهر فقيهي في 10 مباريات بقميص الاتحاد في الموسم المنقضي بواقع 431 دقيقة لعب، حيث ساهم بتمريرة حاسمة واحدة.
وتسعى إدارة الشباب من خلال هذه الخطوة إلى تدعيم صفوف الفريق خلال الفترة القادمة، فيما يأمل الاتحاد الاستفادة من خدمات العبسي بشكل كامل قبل انتهاء عقده رسمياً.

The management of Al-Shabab Club has entered into serious negotiations with its counterpart at Al-Ittihad Club, as they requested to loan the player Muath Faqihi in exchange for waiving the remaining six months of goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Absi's contract in favor of Al-Ittihad.
Left-back Muath Faqihi, 23 years old, joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2024 from Al-Hilal in a deal lasting 4 seasons.
