توفيت الملاكمة الأرجنتينية السابقة أليخاندرا أوليفيراس، البطلة العالمية في أربع فئات وزنية، عن عمر ناهز 47 عاماً، بعد إصابتها بسكتة دماغية وفقاً لتقارير إعلامية محلية.
وكانت أليخاندرا أوليفيراس التي عرفت بلقب «لوكوموتورا» بسبب أسلوبها الهجومي القوي، قد نُقلت إلى المستشفى في وقت سابق من هذا الشهر في مدينة سانتا في، حيث فارقت الحياة بعد صراع قصير مع المرض.
وخلال مسيرتها الاحترافية التي امتدت 12 عاماً، حصدت أوليفيراس ألقاباً عالمية في أوزان فوق الديك، الريشة، الخفيف، وخفيف الوسط، وحققت 33 انتصاراً، منها 16 بالضربة القاضية، مقابل 3 خسائر وتعادلين، قبل اعتزالها في 2017.
ونعى مجلس الملاكمة العالمي البطلة الراحلة قائلاً: «نشعر بحزن عميق لرحيل بطلتنا، سيبقى إرثها خالداً في ذاكرتنا وقلوبنا». كما أعلنت حكومة سانتا في الحداد الرسمي لمدة 72 ساعة.

Alejandra Oliveras, known by the nickname "La Locomotora" due to her strong offensive style, was taken to the hospital earlier this month in Santa Fe, where she passed away after a short battle with illness.
During her 12-year professional career, Oliveras won world titles in super bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight, achieving 33 victories, including 16 by knockout, against 3 losses and 2 draws, before retiring in 2017.
The World Boxing Council mourned the late champion, stating: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our champion; her legacy will remain forever in our memories and hearts." The government of Santa Fe also declared a 72-hour official mourning period.
