شهدت الجمعية العمومية التي أُقيمت مساء أمس (الثلاثاء) «عن بُعد»، تزكية المهندس أحمد أخريدة رئيساً لنادي الخليج للدورة القادمة التي تمتد لأربع سنوات، في ظل عدم تقدم أي مرشح منافس.
وجاءت أعمال الجمعية بعد اكتمال النصاب القانوني بنسبة حضور بلغت 76.71% من الأعضاء الذين يحق لهم التصويت، ما أتاح الانطلاق الرسمي للجلسة تحت إشراف ممثل اللجنة العامة لانتخابات الأندية الرياضية بوزارة الرياضة.
وضمت قائمة الرئيس المعيّن كلاً من؛ عبدالله المرهون، زكي آل خليفة، عادل السيهاتي، مصطفى المنيان، حسين غانم، عبدالعزيز السيهاتي، وعلي المطرود.
وعبر الرئيس التنفيذي للنادي علي المحسن عن امتنانه وتقديره لمجلس الإدارة السابق برئاسة المهندس علاء الهمل، مشيداً في الكلمة الافتتاحية للجلسة بالمنجزات النوعية التي تحققت خلال الدورة الماضية.
وفي ختام الاجتماع، أعلنت وزارة الرياضة فتح باب الطعون على إجراءات الجمعية العمومية، اليوم (الأربعاء) 23 يوليو الجاري، لمدة يوم واحد فقط، عبر المنصة الإلكترونية المخصصة للجمعيات العمومية والانتخابية.

The General Assembly held yesterday evening (Tuesday) "remotely" witnessed the endorsement of Engineer Ahmed Akhreeda as the President of Al-Khaleej Club for the upcoming term, which will last for four years, in light of no competing candidates coming forward.
The proceedings of the assembly came after achieving the legal quorum with a attendance rate of 76.71% of the members eligible to vote, which allowed for the official start of the session under the supervision of a representative from the General Committee for Sports Club Elections at the Ministry of Sports.
The list of the appointed president included; Abdullah Al-Marhoon, Zaki Al-Khalifa, Adel Al-Sihati, Mustafa Al-Munyan, Hussein Ghanem, Abdulaziz Al-Sihati, and Ali Al-Matrood.
The club's CEO, Ali Al-Mohsen, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the previous Board of Directors headed by Engineer Alaa Al-Hamal, praising in his opening speech the qualitative achievements that were accomplished during the last term.
At the end of the meeting, the Ministry of Sports announced the opening of the appeals process regarding the procedures of the General Assembly, today (Wednesday) July 23, for one day only, through the electronic platform designated for general and electoral assemblies.
