خسر منتخبنا الوطني السعودي تحت 23 عاماً من منتخب أوزبكستان بنتيجة 3-1، في المباراة التي جمعتهما مساء اليوم (الثلاثاء)، ضمن افتتاح منافسات الدورة الدولية الودية في أوزبكستان.
وجاء هدف «الأخضر» عن طريق اللاعب مراد خضري في الدقيقة 58، في حين سجل منتخب أوزبكستان أهدافه خلال الدقائق 9، 11، و48 من مجريات المباراة.
ودخل المدرب الإيطالي لويجي دي بياجو المباراة بقائمة مكونة من؛ مهند اليحيى في حراسة المرمى، مبارك الراجح، محمد الدوسري، خالد العسيري، سليمان هزازي، فيصل الصبياني، أيمن فلاتة، عباس الحسن، عبدالكريم دارسي، مراد خضري، ماجد عبدالله.
ورغم الخسارة إلا أن نجوم الأخضر قدموا أداء مقنعاً لاسيما وسط غياب عناصر المنتخب الأساسي الذين شاركوا في بطولة موريس ريفيلو الدولية (تولون) التي أقيمت في فرنسا الشهر الماضي وحقق فيها الأخضر المركز الثاني بعد خسارته في النهائي من المنتخب الفرنسي.
يذكر أن الدورة الدولية الودية تضم إلى جانب المنتخب الوطني تحت 23 عاماً، منتخبَي أوزبكستان المستضيف، واليابان الذي سيلاقي الأخضر يوم الجمعة القادم عند تمام السادسة بتوقيت السعودية على ملعب جار في العاصمة الأوزبكية طشقند.

The Saudi national team under 23 years old lost to the Uzbekistan national team with a score of 3-1 in the match that took place this evening (Tuesday) as part of the opening of the international friendly tournament in Uzbekistan.

The Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio entered the match with a lineup consisting of; Muhannad Al-Yahya in goal, Mubarak Al-Rajeh, Mohammed Al-Dosari, Khalid Al-Asiri, Suleiman Hazazi, Faisal Al-Sabiani, Ayman Flata, Abbas Al-Hassan, Abdul Karim Darsi, Murad Khudari, and Majed Abdullah.
Despite the loss, the stars of the Green team delivered a convincing performance, especially in light of the absence of key players who participated in the Maurice Revello International Tournament (Toulon) held in France last month, where the Green team finished in second place after losing in the final to the French team.
It is worth noting that the international friendly tournament includes, in addition to the under 23 national team, the host team Uzbekistan and Japan, which will face the Green team next Friday at exactly six o'clock Saudi time at the Jar Stadium in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.
