أعلنت اللجنة العامة لانتخابات الأندية الرياضية مساء اليوم النتائج النهائية بشأن ملف مجلس ادارة نادي الخليج، التي أسفرت عن استبعاد القائمة المرشحة برئاسة المهندس أحمد خريدة، استنادا إلى المادة (27/1/ز) من اللائحة الأساسية للأندية.
وجاء قرار الاستبعاد النهائي بعد رفض الطعن، وفحص ومراجعة أهلية المرشح للرئاسة، حيث أُقر بعدم استيفائه أحد الشروط النظامية المنصوص عليها.
ورغم قبول بقية أعضاء مجلس الإدارة ضمن القائمة نفسها، فإن استبعاد خريدة كرئيس أدى وفقا للنظام إلى إلغاء القائمة كاملة.
وكان خريدة المرشح الوحيد لخلافة الرئيس السابق علاء الهمل، ويُعد من الأسماء البارزة في مدينة سيهات، حيث شغل عضوية مجلس إدارة النادي سابقا ويُعد عضوا حاليا في اتحاد كرة اليد منذ أكثر من أربع سنوات، ويحظى بدعم قطاع واسع من أعضاء الجمعية العمومية ومحبي النادي.
وبناء على هذا القرار، قررت اللجنة إعادة فتح باب الترشح للرئاسة وعضوية المجلس ابتداء من الأحد القادم، على ان يتم الاعلان عن الرئيس الجديد في الجمعية العمومية في ٢٢ يوليو القادم.

The General Committee for Sports Club Elections announced this evening the final results regarding the file of the Board of Directors of Al-Khaleej Club, which resulted in the disqualification of the candidate list headed by Engineer Ahmed Khureida, based on Article (27/1/z) of the basic regulations for clubs.
The final disqualification decision came after the rejection of the appeal and the examination and review of the eligibility of the presidential candidate, as it was determined that he did not meet one of the stipulated regulatory conditions.
Although the other members of the Board of Directors within the same list were accepted, the disqualification of Khureida as president led, according to the regulations, to the cancellation of the entire list.
Khureida was the only candidate to succeed the former president, Alaa Al-Hamal, and is considered one of the prominent names in the city of Sehat, having previously served as a member of the club's Board of Directors and currently being a member of the Handball Federation for over four years, enjoying the support of a wide sector of the general assembly members and club enthusiasts.
Based on this decision, the committee decided to reopen the nomination for the presidency and council membership starting next Sunday, with the announcement of the new president to take place at the general assembly on July 22nd.
