هنأ رئيس الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم، النائب الأول لرئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم الشيخ سلمان بن إبراهيم آل خليفة، الهلال السعودي بتأهله إلى الدور ربع النهائي من بطولة كأس العالم للأندية (2025)، مؤكدا أن الهلال نجح في تحقيق نتيجة مشرفة لكرة القدم الآسيوية في هذا المحفل الكروي العالمي.
وقال آل خليفة: الهلال أثبت مجددا مكانته بصفته سفيرا ناجحا للكرة الآسيوية على الصعيد الدولي، من خلال المستويات الفنية اللافتة التي قدمها في الدور الأول، ومكنته من بلوغ الأدوار الإقصائية، إلى جانب الأداء المبهر أمام مانشستر سيتي في دور الـ16، الذي توجه بانتصار مشهود مهد طريق الهلال ليكون في مصاف الثمانية الكبار للبطولة.

The President of the Asian Football Confederation, the First Vice President of FIFA, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, congratulated Al Hilal Saudi FC on their qualification to the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup (2025), affirming that Al Hilal has succeeded in achieving a commendable result for Asian football in this global football event.
Sheikh Al Khalifa stated: "Al Hilal has once again proven its status as a successful ambassador for Asian football on the international stage, through the remarkable technical levels it displayed in the group stage, which enabled it to reach the knockout rounds, alongside the impressive performance against Manchester City in the Round of 16, culminating in a celebrated victory that paved the way for Al Hilal to be among the elite eight of the tournament."
