فاز منتخب جواتيمالا على جوادلوب بنتيجة (3 - 2) لينتزع بطاقة التأهل الثانية لدور الثمانية بنهاية منافسات المجموعة الثالثة لبطولة الكأس الذهبية لكرة القدم المقامة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا.
وأنهى منتخب جواتيمالا الشوط الأول متقدمًا بهدفين أحرزهما خوسيه كارلوس بينتو من ركلة جزاء وأولجر إسكوبار في الدقيقتين (13) و(29).
وفي الشوط الثاني، قلص منتخب جوادلوب الفارق بهدف سجله أنجي فريدي بلومين في الدقيقة (50) من ركلة جزاء، قبل أن تعزز جواتيمالا تقدمها بهدف ثالث سجله روبيو روبن في الدقيقة (70)، وقلص جوادلوب الفارق مجددًا بهدف ثان أحرزه ماتياس فايتون في الدقيقة (78).
وبهذا الفوز رفع منتخب جواتيمالا رصيده إلى (6) نقاط في المركز الثاني، بينما تذيل منتخب جوادلوب الترتيب بلا رصيد في المركز الرابع.
وفاز منتخب بنما على جامايكا بنتيجة (4 - 1)، ليعزز تصدره للمجموعة برصيد (9) نقاط، ويطيح بمنافسه من الدور الأول بعدما تجمد رصيده عند ثلاث نقاط في المركز الثالث.
ويدين منتخب بنما بهذا الفوز للاعبه إسماعيل دياز الذي سجل ثلاثية في الدقائق (4) و(17) و(45)، وأضاف زميله توماس رودريجيز الهدف الرابع في الدقيقة (89)، بينما سجل آماري بيل هدف جامايكا الوحيد في الدقيقة (27).

The Guatemala national team won against Guadeloupe with a score of (3 - 2) to secure the second qualification spot for the quarter-finals at the end of the group stage of the Gold Cup football tournament held in the United States and Canada.
Guatemala finished the first half leading with two goals scored by José Carlos Pinto from a penalty and Olger Escobar in the 13th and 29th minutes.
In the second half, Guadeloupe reduced the deficit with a goal scored by Angy Freddy Blumin in the 50th minute from a penalty, before Guatemala extended their lead with a third goal scored by Rubio Rubén in the 70th minute, and Guadeloupe once again narrowed the gap with a second goal scored by Matías Vaiton in the 78th minute.
With this victory, Guatemala raised its points to (6) in second place, while Guadeloupe finished at the bottom of the standings with no points in fourth place.
The Panama national team defeated Jamaica with a score of (4 - 1), reinforcing their lead in the group with (9) points, and eliminating their opponent from the first round after their points remained at three in third place.
Panama owes this victory to their player Ismael Díaz, who scored a hat-trick in the 4th, 17th, and 45th minutes, while his teammate Tomás Rodríguez added the fourth goal in the 89th minute, and Amari Bell scored Jamaica's only goal in the 27th minute.
