The President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, confirmed that the Club World Cup is loved by players and is an ideal platform to promote football in America. During a festival in New York, Infantino emphasized that football should be free for children, as it is in Europe and Africa, calling on municipalities to create fields that support talent. He said, "We want to show the youth of America that football is a path to glory and money." He also revealed the introduction of "body cameras" for referees to see events from the referee's perspective directly, affirming, "Players will become more cautious in their interactions with referees, which enhances transparency and behavior on the field."

It is worth mentioning that the United States is currently hosting the Club World Cup from June 14 to July 13, and at the same time, it is hosting the CONCACAF Gold Cup in partnership with Canada from June 14 to July 6.

The United States is preparing to host the 2026 World Cup next year in partnership with Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2006.
