حسم فريق النصر رسمياً بطاقة التأهل إلى دوري أبطال آسيا 2، بعد أن أنهى موسم دوري روشن السعودي 2024–2025 في المركز الثالث.
وكانت المنافسة محتدمة بين النصر والقادسية، حيث كانت فرصة القادسية قائمة في حال تتويجه بلقب كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، غير أن الاتحاد قال كلمته في النهائي، وتوّج باللقب عقب فوزه على القادسية بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف.
يُذكر أن النصر فقد فرصة التأهل إلى دوري أبطال آسيا (النخبة) بعد خسارة القادسية أمام الهلال في الجولة الأخيرة من الدوري، ليترقّب لاحقًا ما ستؤول إليه نتيجة نهائي كأس الملك، والتي جاءت في صالحه بمنح بطاقة آسيا 2.
وبذلك، ينضم النصر إلى قائمة تضم 10 أندية حتى الآن ضمنت مشاركتها في دوري أبطال آسيا 2، وهي:
الوصل الإماراتي، الأهلي القطري، الوحدات والحسين الأردنيان، موهون باغان الهندي، المحرق والخالدية البحرينيان، أنديجون الأوزبكي، أكارداغ التركماني، إضافة إلى النصر السعودي.

The Al-Nassr team has officially secured a spot in the AFC Champions League 2, after finishing the Roshan Saudi League 2024–2025 season in third place.
The competition was intense between Al-Nassr and Al-Qadisiyah, as Al-Qadisiyah had a chance if they won the King’s Cup. However, Al-Ittihad had the final say, winning the title after defeating Al-Qadisiyah three goals to one.
It is worth noting that Al-Nassr lost the opportunity to qualify for the AFC Champions League (Elite) after Al-Qadisiyah's loss to Al-Hilal in the final round of the league, leading to anticipation of the result of the King's Cup final, which ultimately favored them by granting the AFC 2 spot.
Thus, Al-Nassr joins a list of 10 clubs that have so far secured their participation in the AFC Champions League 2, which includes:
Al-Wasl from the UAE, Al-Ahli from Qatar, Al-Wehdat and Al-Hussein from Jordan, Mohun Bagan from India, Al-Muharraq and Al-Khalidiya from Bahrain, Andijon from Uzbekistan, Akhals from Turkmenistan, in addition to Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia.
