تُسحب الأحد القادم في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة قرعة بطولتي كأس العرب وكأس العالم تحت 17 عاماً بحضور عدد من نجوم كرة القدم من دولة قطر والعالم، إذ يشارك 16 منتخباً عربياً في بطولة كأس العرب التي ستقام خلال الفترة من 1-18 ديسمبر، حيث ستتأهل 9 منتخبات تلقائياً للبطولة بناء على مراكزها في تصنيف الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (fifa)، بعد ضمان منتخب الجزائر (حامل اللقب) ومنتخب قطر (الدولة المستضيفة) مقعديهما في المسابقة، فيما ستتأهل المنتخبات السبعة المتبقية من خلال تصفيات ستقام في شهر نوفمبر القادم.
ومن المقرر أن يشارك في كأس العالم تحت 17 عاماً 48 منتخباً في سابقة هي الأولى من نوعها في تاريخ بطولات الفيفا وكأس العالم. وستخوض الفرق المشاركة 104 مباريات تقام على مدى 25 يوماً. وستحتضن قطر 5 نسخ متتالية من البطولة إلى عام 2029.

The draw for the Arab Cup and the Under-17 World Cup will take place next Sunday in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the presence of several football stars from Qatar and around the world. Sixteen Arab teams will participate in the Arab Cup, which will be held from December 1-18, with 9 teams qualifying automatically for the tournament based on their positions in the FIFA rankings, after ensuring that Algeria (the defending champion) and Qatar (the host nation) secured their spots in the competition. The remaining seven teams will qualify through playoffs that will take place in November.
It is scheduled that 48 teams will participate in the Under-17 World Cup, marking a first in the history of FIFA tournaments and the World Cup. The participating teams will play 104 matches over a span of 25 days. Qatar will host 5 consecutive editions of the tournament until 2029.
