تسلَّم نائب رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير فهد بن جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد اليوم (الجمعة) الحزام الأسود الشرفي للاتحاد الدولي للتايكوندو (6 دان) من رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للتايكوندو الدكتور تشونغوون تشو خلال لقاء الأمير فهد بن جلوي به في ميدان الهجن في محافظة الطائف. وجاء تسليم هذا الحزام تقديراً من الاتحاد الدولي لجهوده في دعم رياضة التايكوندو عالمياً، والحركة الرياضية العالمية، من خلال احتضان المملكة لأهم البطولات والمناسبات الرياضية المتنوعة، بما يخدم تطلعات وطموحات الرياضيين حول العالم، إذ يُمنح هذا الحزام حصراً لقادة الدول الداعمة لهذه الرياضة، والقيادات الرياضية.
جاء ذلك على هامش حضور ضيوف المملكة لأعمال الجمعية العمومية الخامسة عشرة للاتحاد الرياضي للتضامن المقامة بمحافظة الطائف، التي تستقطب قيادات اللجان الأولمبية من 57 دولة إسلامية، إضافة إلى العديد من قيادات الاتحادات والمنظمات الرياضية الدولية.
The Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, received today (Friday) the honorary black belt of the International Taekwondo Federation (6th Dan) from the President of the International Taekwondo Federation, Dr. Chungwon Choue, during a meeting with Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi at the camel racing field in Taif Province. This belt was awarded in recognition of the International Federation's appreciation for his efforts in supporting the sport of taekwondo globally and the global sports movement, through the Kingdom's hosting of major championships and various sporting events, which serve the aspirations and ambitions of athletes around the world. This belt is exclusively granted to leaders of countries that support this sport and to sports leaders.
This took place on the sidelines of the attendance of the Kingdom's guests at the 15th General Assembly of the Sports Union for Solidarity held in Taif Province, which attracts leaders of Olympic committees from 57 Islamic countries, in addition to many leaders of international sports federations and organizations.
