من المنتظر عودة قائد المنتخب السعودي سالم الدوسري للملاعب في شهر ديسمبر القادم، والمشاركة مع المنتخب السعودي في بطولة كأس أمم آسيا 2027 في السعودية، خلال الفترة من 7 يناير وحتى 5 فبراير القادمين.
إذ يواصل كابتن المنتخب السعودي حالياً المرحلة الثانية من برنامجه التأهيلي في العيادة الطبية بـ«مركز الماجدية الرياضي»، بعد أن أنهى المرحلة الأولى في شهر أغسطس الماضي.
وكان الدوسري تعرض لإصابة في وتر الرضفة للركبة اليمنى، وأجرى على إثرها عملية جراحية في 21 يوليو الماضي.
ويتواجد «الأخضر» في المجموعة الأولى بكأس أمم آسيا 2027، إلى جانب منتخبات الكويت، عمان، وفلسطين.
وسيفتتح المنتخب السعودي مبارياته في دور المجموعات بكأس الأمم الآسيوية القادمة، بلقاء منتخب فلسطين (الخميس) 7 يناير القادم، ومن ثم مواجهة عمان (الثلاثاء) 12 من الشهر نفسه، ويختتم مبارياته أمام الكويت (الأحد) 17 من الشهر ذاته، وستقام جميع مباريات منتخبنا الوطني الساعة الثامنة مساء، على ملعب مدينة الملك فهد الرياضية بالرياض.

The Saudi national team will open its matches in the group stage of the upcoming Asian Cup with a game against the Palestine team on Thursday, January 7, followed by a match against Oman on Tuesday, January 12, and will conclude its matches against Kuwait on Sunday, January 17. All of our national team's matches will take place at 8 PM at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
