تُوج الدولي السعودي سعود عبدالحميد بلقب كأس السوبر الفرنسي 2026 مع فريقه لانس، عقب فوزٍ ثمين على باريس سان جيرمان بهدف دون رد، في المباراة التي أُقيمت على ملعب «بولار دولولي» أمس (الأحد).
سجّل فلوريان توفان هدف المباراة الوحيد في الدقيقة 32، ليمنح لانس اللقب لأول مرة في تاريخه، منهياً بذلك هيمنة باريس سان جيرمان على البطولة خلال السنوات الأخيرة. وخاض لانس المباراة بعشرة لاعبين منذ منتصف الشوط الأول، إلا أنه أظهر تماسكاً وانضباطاً دفاعياً لافتاً، وحافظ على نظافة شباكه حتى صافرة النهاية.
شارك سعود عبدالحميد أساسياً طوال اللقاء، وكان عنصراً فعالاً في دفاع الفريق ووسطه. ويعتبر هذا اللقب الثاني الذي يحققه المدافع السعودي مع لانس، إذ سبق له الفوز بكأس فرنسا مع الفريق في موسم 2025–2026، كما ساهم في احتلال الفريق المركز الثاني في الدوري الفرنسي والتأهل إلى دوري أبطال أوروبا.
يُذكر أن سعود عبدالحميد أصبح أول لاعب سعودي يلعب ويسجل في الدوري الفرنسي، وقد انتقل إلى لانس قادماً من روما الإيطالي، ثم فعّل النادي بند الشراء في عقده ليبقى مع الفريق حتى 2029.
Saudi international Saud Abdulhamid was crowned with the French Super Cup title 2026 with his team Lens, following a valuable victory over Paris Saint-Germain with a score of one goal to nil, in the match held at the "Bollaert-Delelis" stadium yesterday (Sunday).
Florian Thauvin scored the only goal of the match in the 32nd minute, granting Lens the title for the first time in its history, thus ending Paris Saint-Germain's dominance in the tournament over recent years. Lens played the match with ten players since the middle of the first half, yet they displayed remarkable cohesion and defensive discipline, maintaining a clean sheet until the final whistle.
Saud Abdulhamid participated as a starter throughout the match and was an effective element in the team's defense and midfield. This is the second title that the Saudi defender has achieved with Lens, as he previously won the French Cup with the team in the 2025–2026 season, and he contributed to the team finishing second in Ligue 1 and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
It is worth mentioning that Saud Abdulhamid became the first Saudi player to play and score in Ligue 1, having moved to Lens from Italian club Roma, after which the club activated the purchase option in his contract to keep him with the team until 2029.
