أكد مدرب نادي الدرعية برونو لاج أن فريقه قدم أداءً هجومياً جيداً وصنع العديد من الفرص الواضحة، مشيراً إلى أن نتيجة المباراة لم تعكس ما قدمه اللاعبون على أرض الملعب.
وقال برونو لاج: «لعبنا بشكل هجومي وحاولنا الوصول من العمق، لكن في النهاية حدثت بعض الأمور التي خرجت عن سيطرتنا. منذ أول 15 دقيقة وحتى نهاية الشوط الأول صنعنا العديد من الفرص الواضحة، خصوصاً فرصة كوسكار، وفرصة عمر كولي التي ارتطمت بالقائم، وكانت فرصنا أخطر من فرص المنافس».
وأضاف: «كنا جاهزين لتطبيق الضغط العالي والتسبب في مشكلات لدفاع المنافس، ونجحنا بالفعل في ذلك، وظهر الفريق بصورة هجومية جيدة، سواء من خلال العمل الجماعي أو المهارات الفردية».
وأشار برونو لاج إلى أن الفريق يمتلك مجموعة من اللاعبين الشباب القادرين على التطور وتقديم الإضافة، وقال: «لدينا لاعبون صغار يملكون إمكانات جيدة، ومن بينهم عبدالعزيز الفرج، وهناك بعض اللاعبين الذين يحتاجون إلى مزيد من التطور في الالتحامات والجوانب التنافسية، وهذا سيأتي مع الوقت».
واختتم حديثه بالتأكيد على رضاه عن المؤشرات التي أظهرها الفريق، مضيفاً: «الإشارة الإيجابية هي الشعور الذي خرجنا به جميعاً بعد المباراة، وهو أننا قدمنا مستوى يجعلنا نستحق نتيجة أفضل».
The coach of Al-Dhariyah Club, Bruno Lage, confirmed that his team delivered a good attacking performance and created many clear chances, pointing out that the result of the match did not reflect what the players showed on the field.
Bruno Lage said: "We played offensively and tried to penetrate from the center, but in the end, some things happened that were beyond our control. From the first 15 minutes until the end of the first half, we created many clear chances, especially the chance for Koscak and the chance for Omar Kouli that hit the post. Our chances were more dangerous than those of the opponent."
He added: "We were ready to implement high pressing and cause problems for the opponent's defense, and we succeeded in that. The team appeared in a good attacking manner, whether through teamwork or individual skills."
Bruno Lage pointed out that the team has a group of young players capable of developing and contributing, saying: "We have young players with good potential, including Abdulaziz Al-Faraj, and there are some players who need more development in tackles and competitive aspects, and this will come with time."
He concluded his remarks by emphasizing his satisfaction with the indicators shown by the team, adding: "The positive sign is the feeling we all had after the match, which is that we performed at a level that deserves a better result."
