توصّل نادي نيوم إلى اتفاق مع المدافع الفرنسي مالانغ سار لضمه في صفقة مجانية خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية، عقب انتهاء عقده مع نادي لانس.
وأوضح الصحفي الإيطالي فابريزو رومانو عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»، أن نيوم حسم صفقة مالانغ سار بعد موافقة اللاعب على الانتقال.
رفض 5 عروض أوروبية من أجل نيوم
وأضاف رومانو: «خطوة مفاجئة تكتمل باختيار سار مشروع نادي نيوم، وتفضيله على خمسة عروض أخرى من أوروبا».
موسم تاريخي مع لانس
وساهم مالانغ سار، رفقة النجم السعودي سعود عبدالحميد، في حجز لانس مقعداً في بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا الموسم القادم، بعدما احتل الفريق المركز الثاني في جدول ترتيب الدوري الفرنسي برصيد 70 نقطة، متأخراً بفارق 7 نقاط عن حامل اللقب باريس سان جيرمان.
كما ساعد الفريق في التتويج بلقب بكأس فرنسا للمرة الأولى في تاريخه على حساب نيس بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف، في شهر مايو الماضي.
مسيرة حافلة
يذكر أن مالانغ سار، البالغ من العمر 27 عاماً، بدأ مسيرته في صفوف نيس ثم لعب لأندية تشيلسي وبورتو وموناكو ولانس، وكانت أبرز إنجازاته تحقيق لقب كأس العالم للأندية 2022 مع تشيلسي.
Neom Club has reached an agreement with French defender Malang Sarr to sign him on a free transfer during the current summer transfer window, following the expiration of his contract with Lens.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano clarified via his account on the "X" platform that Neom finalized the deal for Malang Sarr after the player agreed to the transfer.

Romano added: "A surprising move is completed with Sarr choosing the Neom project, preferring it over five other offers from Europe."
A historic season with Lens
Malang Sarr, along with Saudi star Saud Abdulhamid, contributed to Lens securing a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League, after the team finished second in the French league standings with 70 points, trailing by 7 points behind the defending champion Paris Saint-Germain.
The team also helped clinch the French Cup title for the first time in its history against Nice, winning three goals to one, last May.
A remarkable career
It is worth noting that Malang Sarr, who is 27 years old, began his career at Nice and then played for Chelsea, Porto, Monaco, and Lens, with his most notable achievement being winning the FIFA Club World Cup 2022 with Chelsea.
